~ 5 months later ~
Life for the Swift-Kloss family has become almost insufferable over the last week. Karlie is nearly a week overdue with baby #3, and she's tired and irritable and just wants this pregnancy to be over.
She loves her baby, of course she does, but she feels like she's about to burst any second and she's so uncomfortable. Taylor has been an angel, leaving her wife on bed rest for near enough the last month of her pregnancy, and she's been keeping Maisie and Tilly occupied when Karlie's resting or bringing them to spend time with their Momma when she's not. She knows how hard this is on Kar, so she's doing everything in her power to make it easier.
"Okay, the girls are off to grandma and grandpa's house for the night, so it's just you and me." Taylor is almost as exhausted as Karlie from chasing their daughters around, and she never thought it would get harder than the newborn stage, but when they grow up and make friends there are play dates and birthday parties and it's so much harder to keep on top of it all.
She plops down on their bed beside her wife and Karlie gives her a soft smile, "your daughter is moving around again." She massages the side of her stomach where the baby's kicking her. "Hey peanut." Taylor leans on her elbows at Karlie's side as she kisses her bump where a little limb is poking out. "She's going to start running out of space soon." Karlie rolls her eyes as Taylor gently taps her bump and she feels her daughter moving around.
"It looks like it's going to be stormy tonight." Taylor hums as the rain patters against the window and Karlie nods, "hopefully it won't be as hot tonight." The mid-July heat has been torture for the heavily pregnant model, so she's hoping the rain will help break through the heat.
"Oh, jeez." She grabs her stomach as a dull pain ripples through her bump making her uncomfortable. "Are you okay?" Taylor eyes her wife cautiously and Karlie nods, "I think she just kicked my rib." She laughs as she pushes herself up a little more. "I'm going to go and make us something to eat, do you wanna sit with me whilst I make dinner?" Taylor pouts and Karlie smiles as she nods, "but you're gonna have to help me up because I can't move."

After spending the evening in the baby's room with Taylor making sure they have everything ready and prepared, Karlie was increasingly uncomfortable. She's had a pressure in her back and stomach all day that just keeps getting more and more intense.
"It's late, are you coming to bed?" Taylor pops her head around the door of baby girl's nursery, finding Karlie sitting in the middle of the floor surrounded by storage boxes of baby clothes. "Once I finish this." She mutters as she folds a pair of pants against her bump. Taylor smiles and walks further into the room, kneeling down beside her wife. "My love, these were already organised." Karlie looks up at Taylor and sighs, Taylor knows that Karlie thinks she doesn't realise how nervous she is, but she knows better than anyone.
"Why don't you go to bed and let me finish this. You need your sleep, love." Karlie sighs but gives in to her wife's pushing, "help me up?" Taylor laughs as she stands up and holds her hands out to help Karlie up from the floor. Karlie feels another increase in the pressure in the stomach and massages it to try and get some relief. "Maybe you'll feel better once you lay down?" She nods in agreement and Taylor grabs her hands as she helps her wife waddle back through to bed.
"Cuddle with me." Karlie pouts and Taylor laughs as she lays down beside her and cuddles into her side. The singer traces gentle patterns on her wife's baby bump and it seems like baby girl has finally calmed down. "Shit." Taylor jumps up as Karlie clutches her bump, "babe, what's wrong?" The blonde sits up and watches the model squeeze her eyes shut in pain. "I think it's time, Tay. I've had pressure all day and it's getting worse, I think she's coming."
