Chapter 5: Decisions

Prince Shouto's POV

Dinner's finally done, to be precise, I didn't eat quite well. I don't even have appetite. I stood up and excused myself, I went directly to my room and dove into my bed.

You can't marry a girl that doesn't have royal blood, Shouto.

Those words echoed inside my head endlessly. I wasn't sure of my feelings towards Momo, But...I already know that I knew the fact that I can't marry a girl without a royal blood.

Why am I always got to be bossed around!?

I rolled on my bed, tucked my face into a pillow and screamed, I screamed for all the hatred, pain and anger I felt. I screamed and screamed and screamed.

Until I felt something wet come out of my eyes.

TEARS??

I sat up and wiped my tears away, even though it kept on coming. Then there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yelled to let the certain person come in my room

Princess Fuyumi's POV

Shouto hurriedly exited the dining room without any words.

I think he's still in pain for the conversation a while ago.

I looked at mom who has a concerned face, she looked back at me and nodded.

"Excuse me, Mom, Dad..." I smiled as I excused myself and ran immediately to Shouto.

As I ran, The halls seems endless. Then, finally I came across a familiar door, which is the door of Shouto's room.

Without further hesitation, I knocked on the door only being answered by a "Come in!" Obviously by Shouto.

I turned the knob and glanced at his room, it was dark. There were no lights nor lampshades.

Then I came across a red and white haired boy sitting on his bed with a sad look on his face. My eyes widened, he's eyes were a bit puffy and red. He's been crying?

I ran to him and gave my little brother a warm embrace and gratefully, he embraced my back. He was crying like child.

"It's okay Shouto, It'll be fine...You're sister is here...." I said as I patted his back trying to comfort Shouto.

"Why?..." He said still crying. I let go of the hug and faced him. His eyes where puffy and red, His cheeks were drenched with tears.

"Hey...Don't cry...You're strong aren't you?" I said in a soft voice as I placed my hand unto his cheeks and wiped away the tears on his face.

"It'll be fine...Shouto, Don't worry..." I comforted him many times until he calmed down.

"Are you okay now?" I asked full of concern, I never knew that Shouto was this emotional.

"Yeah...Its just...Why can't we choose the one we will be with forever?" He asked me and I looked at him, directly at his eyes.

"Shouto! To be honest, I hate that rule too! Argh I hate so much! But we don't have a choice but to follow it." I said.

"Yeah I know. It's settled then, I'll move on from Momo but I won't ever forget that she became my first friend, She's a awesome individual." Shouto stated with a small smile.
