fic for @darndimples I hope you like it lol Rachel paced back and forth in the tiny cabin anxious for Gabe to return home. She had a surprise for him and was excited to put it to good use. Rachel picked up the box examining it for the hundredth time making sure she had read the instructions correctly.
Finally she heard the door handle turning. Setting the box on the table behind her she ran over to greet Gabe as he came through the door.
“Whoa, what’s gotten into you?” Gabe said as Rachel wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.
“Oh nothing, I’ve just been excited for you to get here” she said coyly.
“Is that right?” Gabe said squeezing her backside. “You seem to be pretty dang excited. What’s up?”
Gabe had known Rachel long enough to tell when she was up to something. The way her eyes got a little brighter, her mouth had a small hint of a grin, and the way she kissed that spot on his neck. Rachel knew it was his weak spot and could make him cave to anything if she found just that one little spot. Now, as Gabe felt her tongue gliding over that particular area he definitely knew something was going on.
“Spill it Rachel” he said laying his forehead against hers looking right in her eyes.
“Well,” Rachel said trying to find the perfect words, “ I went to town today to get our mail and a little surprise I ordered for us finally came.”
“No! No more surprises baby. Don’t you remember the last ones?” Gabe protested sitting Rachel back down on her feet.
“I promise this one won’t hurt Gabey!” Rachel said trying to calm his fears. Although she couldn’t help laughing at the memories of their past experiences.
Rachel had ordered several “surprises” over the last few months and each of them seemed to end in disaster. The handcuffs they had lost the key to, the tingling body lotion that had made Gabe break out in hives, and the whip that had actually brought him to tears. Rachel had apologized profusely for days after that incident but Gabe had still thrown the whip into the fire.
“Please Gabe, just one more I promise!” She pleaded following Gabe into their bedroom.
“No way Rachel!” Gabe said shaking his head.
“Please baby! This will be fun for both of us. And if you do this I will do that thing you like” she said wiggling her eyebrows.
Gabe stood silent with his arms crossed and his jaw tight. Slowly Rachel could see him begin to relax. Knowing he couldn’t resist her offer she giddily ran back into the other room to grab the box.
As she cautiously approached him she pulled the box out from behind her back.
“Rachel no! No way!” Gabe exclaimed as he looked at box she was holding.
“Oh come on Gabe! You know how much I love when you pretend you’re Hulk and it’s only body paint. It washes right off!”
“It’s glow in the dark paint Rachel! If this doesn’t wash off do you how much crap my brothers will give me?” Gabe protested as he held the box reading the label.
“It will wash off! I tested a little on my arm and it came right off. Please Gabey for me?” She pleaded with the saddest voice she could muster up.
Gabe inhaled deeply looking back and forth between the bottle of green paint and his wife. Finally, he handed the bottle to Rachel and pulled his shirt off over his head.
“This better come off” he said rolling his eyes.
“Oh this is going to be amazing I promise!” Rachel squealed as she started shaking the bottle of body paint.
As she squeezed the cool green liquid into her hand she began to rub it on Gabe’s chest. He flinched a little at the sensation but soon began to relax. The feeling of Gabe’s muscles under her fingers was driving Rachel crazy. Smoothing the paint over his rock hard shoulders Rachel looked at Gabe’s face and could see he was beginning to enjoy it as much as her.
“Ta DA!” Rachel exclaimed as she put the last drop of paint on him. “Gabe, you look freaking amazing!” She said standing back admiring her creation.
“You mean hulk look amazing” Gabe growled back in his best hulk voice.
Rachel laughed loudly loving that Gabe had decided to play along with her.
“Remember what you owe Hulk” Gabe said pressing himself against her.
“Ah yes, a little game of sex tag for Hulk” Rachel said running her hands along his chest. “You’re it!” She quickly poked him and took off running.
Gabe chased her around the house from room to room “hulk get Rachel” he called out after her. Rachel was laughing loudly as she ran out the front door and into the woods behind their cabin. She was too caught up in the moment to notice they weren’t alone in the cool night air.
“Hey Bam come here” Matt called out.
“What now?” Bam answered annoyed at his brother.
“I see something out in the woods. What the heck is that?” Matt asked.
Bam squinted his eyes trying to make out the scene playing out in front of them.
“It’s just Gabe and Rachel again” he said shaking his head walking off.
Later that night Gabe and Rachel had quietly snuck into the shower to wash off the evidence of their amazing night.
“I told you this would be fun” Rachel said washing off Gabe’s back.
“Alright, alright, you were right this time. But no more!” Gabe said laughing.

The next morning Gabe and Rachel woke up early to help the family with chores. Gabe couldn’t help but think his brothers were giving him funny looks. He even thought he had heard a comment or two behind his back. He stood watching as Matt started tossing some wood into a pile.
“Wait Matt don’t do that” Bam called out, “hulk strong! Let him do it.”
Everyone burst out in laughter including Rachel.
“Dang it Rachel! I told you! No more surprises.” Gabe said shaking his head.
