"I can't believe it's already time to go back" Angel said looking at the packed suitcases sitting next to the bed.
After several weeks of working double shifts, a massive garage sale, and any other side job she could get, Angel had saved enough money to fly to Washington. Her heart had been broken the day Bear had left Alaska with his family. She understood why he had to go but it didn't make it any easier.
They had talked on the phone daily but it was nothing like their time together in Alaska. Hiking through the forest, climbing trees, making love under the stars, it had been the best time of her life. The plane ticket to LA had been far too expensive but once they relocated to Washington she jumped at the opportunity. And now after 4 amazing weeks together the time to go back home had come.
"Then don't go" Bear said as he turned to look at her.

Bear walked to her taking her hands into his. "I mean stay. Angel, I know what it's like to live without you and I never want to feel that way again."
Angel stood staring at him unsure of what to say. She didn't want to leave Bear but she didn't know if she was ready to give up her life in Alaska. "Bear I love you but..I"
Bear's face dropped and so did his heart. He dropped her hands quickly turning away. "I'll help you with your bags."
"Bear wait!" Angel pleaded. "I didn't say no! I just wasn't expecting this."
Bear who had reached the door holding her luggage stopped and turned back towards her. "Your hesitation told me everything I need to know."
Angel stood with her mouth open in shock. What had just happened? Things had gotten out of control so fast she wasn't sure how to process it. The knock on the door startled her. "Angel open the door" she heard Bear say from the other side.

"Just let me in so we can talk. Please princess." Bear said softly.
Angel reached up unlocking the door not bothering to get up. The look on Bear's face as he walked in broke her heart all over again. He sat down next to her. He gently wiped her tears away with his hand "I'm sorry princess."
"No I'm sorry" Angel insisted. "I love you! Don't ever think I don't. But you just spring this on me and it's not that I don't want to stay but just give me a second to process everything!"
Bear nodded. "I'm sorry. Thinking about you leaving just scared me. I don't want to lose you."
"You'll never lose me" Angel said wrapping her arms around him.
Bear wrapped his strong arms around her holding her tight. Angel sighed as she felt his soft lips leaving a trail of kisses down her neck. That had always been her weakness and he loved taking advantage of it.
When their lips connected the kiss started out soft and gentle but the intensity grew as the passion inside both of them began to grow. Angel slid her hands under Bear's shirt. Her fingers gliding up and down his strong muscular back. She pouted as Bear pulled away from the kiss but was relieved to see it was only to remove his shirt for good.
