"i'd do it all again"

after lunch, jack and i went to fly high because corbyn and jonah wanted to go to a bowling alley. once daniel heard that they were going to the alley, he said he wanted to go too and so we split up.

"ooh, i wanna try that!" jack's voice piped with excitement as he pointed to ball pit. i curved my lip upwards in recognition.

"are you gonna do the part-core that comes with it?" i curiously orate. jack's laughter bubbled in the air and warmed my heart. "no, i'm just here for the pit,"

i kept pace with jack as he practically ran to the pit. "you're so slow zach!" his laughter echoed throughout the deserted place. i cracked up right next to him.

we got to the pit in tears. jack leaned into me and his lips brushed the collar of my shirt as he tried to stop splitting his sides. we were dumb teens laughing over nothing, it was life at its purest.

"z-zach," jack's voice was in broken up hiccups. "yeah?" i responded with my own fit of energy.

"that was the most fun i've had in a while and we haven't even gotten to the best part," jack smiled against my chest before stepping back and grinning at me.

"i guess it was," i replied.

out of nowhere, jack runs past me and into the pit. the balls seemed to suck him in. after a moment of silence, i was met with jack's giggles. he pushed some curly ringlets out of his eyes and flashed his teeth at me.

"c'mon, zach, hop in!" jack's enthusiasm was contagious. i took a running start and ended up in a pool of balls.

"it really is fun!" i giggled while i tried to up right myself. jack somehow got close to me and helped me get myself up.

then it happed again. it was almost as if we were the only people there and whch we were. jack's body was pressed up against mine and i could feel every crevasse on his skin.

we got closer, our breath's mingled until jack saved us both.

"stop, i'm dating daniel,"
