jack walked out of the room after two hours with a limp. a slight hop in his step, but it was still there. he stopped to face me. his mouth agape, filled with words he didn't say. then, jack closed those goregous, rose, slightly swollen lips and left me.

he left me standing there drowning in a sea of my own thoughts. he left in a moutian of unspoken words.

"jack, wait," the words almost died in mouth, adding to the bloody and overflowing graveyard. i caught up to him and grabbed his wrist. jack wrenched his hand of my grip.

"don't talk to me, zachary," he said through gritted teeth. "i'm happy,"

his words were like bullets to my heart. i opened my mouth to say something but then shut my lips. letting my voice die in my throat and a lump form in its place.

i slacked my hands whilst biding my time in the cold, sharp, and unforgiving silence. in the eerily quiet room, jack turned look at me, scorn and animosity clouding his once loving honey eyes.

he diverted his attention from me to finish what he originally came out to do, eat. i let my body stay glued to that same spot, watching jack slip out of my fingers and into daniel's arms.

"stop staring, it's making me uncomfortable," jack dismissed, the back of his curly hair still facing me.

crimson dusted my cheeks and i tried to distract myself with twitter posts; seeing if anyone has written anything funny. when i look back over to jack, he's with corbyn.

corbyn was pissed. he was speaking fast and in hushed tones. corbyn said something and what jack retorted next must've shut him up because he didn't say anything.

i could feel the tense atmosphere from all the way over here. the next events happened so quickly, jack started to cry, corbyn stalked out and daniel was yelling at jonah.

what was happening?
