everything was overhwhelming. the fact that jonah and corbyn were homophobic, jack crying, zach in love with my lover, the drama, everything.

it was just tearing me apart. jack and i were dating, what does that have to do with anything? does that small aspect of my life have to end our friendship like this?

in tears and a bloody mess of unspoken words. in our own stubbornness stopping us from continuing on what we had, the memories we made.

it shouldn't have to end this way; with jack sobbing into my shoulder as jonah glared at us from across the room. corbyn avoiding us like we had the plague, and zach in his room, comtenplating whether this had all been worth it.

in some sense, it was worth it. it was worth the false sense of security and happiness. it was worth faking who you really are, to reserve that aspect of you to the one person you love.

it was worth going through all that pain if joy would be the only outcome.
