things were tense enough with corbyn and jonah's outbursts, but when it started to get to jack and daniel, it was practically unbearable.

i was used to seeing them together in daniel's bed but corbyn and jonah weren't. the hostility sent jack and daniel on edge so they just stopped. they didn't cuddle together at night or stay 'till three in the morning talking about everything and anything.

then, it was rare to see them cuddled together in his bed, sleeping peacefully without a care in the world. it was rare to see daniel sneak a kiss. it was rare to catch them making out in the covers of their own world. heck, i've only caught them once.

the one thing that nearly burnt out the flame of my heart, was that they were distant. they didn't talk to eachother as much. they didn't spend as much time together, they didn't even do as mich together as they normally did.

it was least to say unsettling, but it scared me when they snapped.

"it's not my fault!" jack's voice reverberated through the room and snapped me out of my daze. "i didn't make them to do that!"

daniel's voice was lower and more muffled. but whatever he said, it broke jack's heart. jack stalked out of the room, slammed the door, and plopped down down next to me.

i didn't say anything, i just listened to his breathing. then, he broke the silence, pulling his knees to his chest and turning his head away from me.

"i just want someone to tell me everything's okay,"
