Janus-Ordea Showdown

Third person's POV

While Stein and Sylvana are fighting...

Janus held his swords backhand, he ran some mana on them and they got covered in flames, he chatted to Ordea It's my first time dueling against a senior warrior, please go easy on me.

He observed the weapon she had - she's a one-handed longsword user, not a rapier.

Ordea smirked Just because you're a junior warrior doesn't mean I will hold back. She first rushed towards him. To his surprise, she suddenly went fast and almost stabbed him on the chest!

Janus immediately crossed his swords and managed to miss her attack.

She must be a Wind user! While he still crossed his swords, he swung his right sword towards her chest which Ordea amazingly dodged by leaning back flexibly! Ordea immediately swept his legs and Janus stumbled to the ground, the flame on his swords vanished.

Goodness gracious! He rolled away to avoid her swings and stood How many times have I been swept off my feet?! Ordea gathered mana on her hand and casted Janus a blast of powerful wind!

Whoa!!! Janus is blown back and about to crash to the wall but he turned his body and landed on the wall on his feet. He quickly gathered mana on his feet then pushed himself off the wall towards Ordea! When he's almost upon her, Janus spun like a top with his sword outraised.

Ordea blocked his swings and she's shocked that she blocked five swings on a single pass How did he do that? It must be a total burden to the body to swing five strikes in a single pass!

Janus skidded to a halt, he quickly grabbed one of the two wooden daggers and threw it at her. Ordea swung and squarely hit it This kid!.. He's as intense as his partner!

Janus is now on the offensive, giving unending swings to Ordea.

Janus hit Ordea in the arm, chest, and on the left leg.

Janus grinned Yeah! I never hit someone lately!

Ordea is about to attack him when they heard a muffled explosion! She stopped her attack and looks at the area where there's a huge cloud of dust.

She asked What just happened? Janus suddenly hit her twice, she leaped back Hey that's not fair!

He spun and held his swords backhand again You should never take your eyes off your opponent, Miss, I think that's the first rule.

The two made another duel - with the cheer of the crowd reaching their ears, they fought even harder. Finally, Ordea parried one of Janus' swords away and swung her sword to his right shoulder.

Crap!! Without a moment's hesitation, he clappef her sword which is on a full swing, with his hands! Janus gritted his teeth in pain Ouchie!!

Ordea's eyes widened in shock He grabbed the sword?! That's got to hurt!

Janus kicked her hard that she's forcedly pushed back then stumbled on the ground.

Ordea demanded Hey! Are you taking this personally?!

Janus chuckled dryly, picking up his weapon Sorry, I..uh..went too far.

She gathered mana on her sword and made a circle motion using the sword in the air, Janus is surprised to see a vortex of wind form! He ran towards her, his sword enveloped in fire.

He saw that the vortex is now in full power!

I can't make it! If I get caught in that, I'll be sent flying sky-high!

Order is about to cast her skill towards Janus when something round and blue crashed into Ordea and exploded in contact! He looks at Stein, which to his surprise, is relaxing!

But he saw another Stein Sylvana is chasing after.

He thought Why are there two of them? He shook his head I'll just ask later. He called out Thanks, Sir!

Ordea came rushing out to him I've had enough!! I'm going to finish you right now! She sent multiple swings towards him but due to her desperation to hit him, her movements became sloppy and he could easily predict and dodge her swings.

She sent a swing downwards which he just leaned on the right to dodge. He then grabbed her arm and locked it at her back, Ordea dropped her sword because of pain.

What the-- you're hurting me!! Janus is behind her then put his sword in front of her neck.

Ordea gulped.

I think it's game over now, Miss Ordea.

Liliana declared Sylvana and Ordea are unable to battle! Janus let her go, he picked up her sword and gave it to her I'm glad to be able to duel with a senior warrior, it's a rare experience for me!

Ordea complimented You're a good one, you really overpowered me in this match, keep it up and improve yourself. Maybe someday, you'll replace Alexander as being the strongest dual-wielder.

Janus beamed Thank you, Miss Ordea, I'll keep it in mind!
