Third person's POV
When Kiyan opened his eyes, he's surprised that he's standing and floating above the clouds, the sun is giving a yellow light on his left Where am I?
Suddenly, familiar voices from behind greeted him excitedly Hi, Sir Kiyan! Kiyan is startled and turn around, tears flowed from his eyes as he saw Ameli and the others smiling at him!
E-Everyone...
His squad ran towards Kiyan and hugged him. Kiyan said tearfully after they broke their hug I..I'm very sorry that I failed you guys - I failed you as a leader, it should've been me who would've been dead but...I'm very sorry!
Treyjan said reassuringly There's no need for you to be sorry, Sir, we already have done our part for the Wild Rose.
Kerya added And it was an honor being led by you... she scratched her head in timidness ...because we trainees knew everything about what you did.
Kane added Yes, Sir, we heard about it. Actually, Treyjan here had doubts that everything you did was just pure luck but when he saw your fight with Ameli, he was scared to duel you.
Treyjan declared I never said I was scared, I just don't want to duel him! Sayo commented Technically, that's still the same as being scared.
Ameli said We were watching you, Sir, we notice that you've been blaming yourself for what happened. Don't worry Sir, we have no regrets on what we did. You can just tell our parents that we're sorry that we can't come home.
But still--
Ameli cut him Kiyan...
He's surprised that there is no 'Sir', Ameli continued Please don't let our sacrifice go to waste by living your entire life with guilt, we have no grudges against you so please live your life fully with happiness. And we see that you're against an army who snuck in the Clan and we would like to witness you in full action.
