Last Stand

Third person's POV

Kiyan chuckled, slightly coughing out blood from his mouth Is--is that all of you can do? Come on, an army of assassins can't even kill a single person?

His words hit them and they look insulted, they're about to attack him when a shout from the distance said Miss Athena! Sir Stein is here and sided with the enemy!

Athen turned What?! She said aloud Lead me to him. She commanded to those who are attacking Kiyan Don't just stand there! Kill him!!

Kiyan said Oh, are you trying to run from me? Considering that you witnessed how I killed your troops in front of you?

Athena's mouth twisted Fine, I'll stay here and watch you die. The army rushed towards Kiyan again but they had a hard time reaching him for the corpses that piled on the stairs made the footing uneven. Kiyan sheathed his greatswords for a moment and drew his daggers Shall we dance?

He spun his daggers then using only the rope as a handle, he threw both daggers on an enemy, cleanly piercing the neck. He immediately pulled them back to his hands and swung them around, slashing every enemy that's on the daggers arc. Still, he only managed to take a few down and dropped them.

Kiyan drew his greatswords, he spun them once and held them tight.

A man threw his scimitar towards Kiyan! He swung his left greatword, hitting the scimitar back and plunging the forehead of the one who threw it! Not a second later, the army swarmed towards Kiyan, he spun twice with his greatswords outraised and cleanly slashed the stomachs of those who surrounded him. He then made a flying kick on the chest of a man in front of him then turned around and used his right greatsword to block several daggers and swords behind him then slashed their abdomen deeply that blood splattered on his face.

Several assassins managed to cut him and he got stabbed on the waist!

Gurggh!

But still, Kiyan survived another platoon of soldiers! The pile of bodies are so many that it's like a hill of corpses with Kiyan standing on top, panting for breath. Just then, one of the assassins threw a spear at him, Kiyan tried to dodge by leaning to the left but he's already too weak that the blade of the spear plunged in his right chest.

GHAAHH! Kiyan gritted his teeth in pain as he removed the spear, he attempted standing but he faltered. So, he used the spear as a post - he plunged it on a dead body behind him and used the other end of the pole and leaned his back to it to prevent him from stumbling.

Kiyan's face is bloody, his Grim Reaper outfit has many tears from the slashes he received, his hands shook as he held his swords down.

He's silent as he looks at the enemies that's still at large...

While Kiyan is fighting, Stein is also having a hard time dealing with so many enemies Damn, there's no end to them! Do they really have to send an army just to kill a single man?! He blocked a sword then made a vertical slash on an enemy This is enough!!
