Peaceful Times

Stein's POV

The day seems to be gloomy - dark clouds and the cold wind indicate heavy rain but I lay on the roof of Liliana's house, closing my eyes to relax from scouting.

Days after that war, Erica, in behalf of her father, made a truce with Athena so there is now peace between the two Clans.

Even though Masamune defeated Ju-an Clan, the winning side, which is us, most likely would take over Ju-an and make it our own but we let the Ju-an Clan as it is.

Still though, the banner of Masamune Clan is waving on top of the walls of Ju-an Clan, indicating that we won over them.

It sure is peaceful.

I got startled when a shout suddenly erupted inside the house!

JANUS!!!

I heard the door burst open, I sat and saw Wilhelmina chasing Janus with a wooden stick at hand You never learn, do you?! Anastasia then came running after Wilhelmina, trying to stop her from hitting Janus. I shook my head Yeah, it truly is peaceful.

Kiyan's POV

I had my swords and daggers sharpened after my scout. As I walked home, I look at the sky and thought aloud It sure is peaceful, it's like the Clan war didn't happen. I observe that the people are bustling about, chatting gaily with each other.

Flashback...

After we cleaned the Clan, the citizens slowly arrived. A sight that really hurts behold in front of my eyes....

Dianne's elder sister and her father hugged her tight, tears of joy and relief present on their faces It's really a relief that you're alive!

Dianne replied Of course! I'm tougher than what you think.

Elsa also ran and hugged her parents, her father said It's good that you're still in one piece. Elsa snuggled her head on her parents' chest Yeah, except that I got little wounds.

I wiped eyes when I saw that sight, Janus stood beside me It sure is nice to have a family to come back to.

I replied Yeah, it sure is. Sir Alexander suddenly went between us and put an arm around our shoulders Yeah, you bachelors can just hug each other. Janus suddenly went towards me with his arms outstretched Give me a hug, Ki'.

I put a palm on his face to prevent him from coming closer No thanks, I'm good. Janus grinned at me and said to Sir Alexander How about you hug Miss Liliana?
