In-House Rampage!

Third person's POV

The four surrounded Xernon in every direction.

Xernon assumed a swordsman stance, waiting for them to make the first move.

Stein thought as he observed his father What will he do next? A cloud of black smoke suddenly covered Xernon and kunai knives suddenly flew towards them!

They barely dodged the projectiles.

Xernon suddenly loomed towards Stein and attempted stabbing him on the chest but Stein also has sharp reflexes - he immediately used the pole of his scythe and the katana barely grazed his left shoulder. He noticed that the sharp side suddenly facing his head! As soon as Xernon swung it towards his head, Stein somersaulted backwards and swung his feet to Xernon's head at the same time.

Stein barely dodged the blade and Xernon also leaned back, Stein's kick nearly hitting him on the chin. Athena made a few hand signs and roots suddenly sprung from the ground behind her! She directed it towards Xernon and the roots went after him like a serpent.

Xernon made a single slash with the Soul in the weapon - just the air itself slashes the roots into pieces. Another wave of followed and Xernon swung his katana multiple times in such a fast manner that all they could see is a blur.

A third wave came to him and this time he leaped away and landing to a pillar in a half crouch. He suddenly sensed a movement above him and saw Scarlett swing her scythe towards him, immediately leaping to another pillar, he growled in annoyance That's enough!!

He swung his katana and a light blade flew from his sword, cutting the roots. In the midst of falling debris, Azalea used them as stepping stones and she's in front of Xernon.

Xernon immediately swung his katana and the air became invisible blades! She thought desperately There's no point blocking something that can't be blocked! Charge through it!

She landed on one last debris and pushed herself towards Xernon, getting cuts on the process! She swung her claws towards him which Xernon barely managed to block!

Without hesitation, he stompex her away forcefully that she crashed squarely on a pillar and fell painfully to the ground.

Stein made earth attribute hand signs then stomped the ground, a large boulder leaped from the ground but Xernon made the first move - he took a rectangular-shaped paper from his pocket and threw it to the ground just in front of him. The paper released an ancient runic marking in the form of a circular spell insignia with Stein in the middle!

The circle immediately released a green, light rope and wrapped Stein's arms and legs, making him unable to move!

When the green light brightened even more, he felt excruciating pain as the spell forcefully drained the mana out of his body!

AAAAAAHHHHHHGGG!! GRRRRAAAAAGGHHHH!! Stein screamed to the top of his lungs as if the pain itself is killing him.

Athena thought on what she saw The leeching seal!

Scarlett dueled with Xernon and she's forced to leap away when his katana suddenly glowed. Athena commanded Scarlett, Miss Azalea, go help Stein for me!

Scarlett only nodded in reply.

Azalea rubbed her sore back as she stood and limped towards Stein.

Athena rapidly spun her scythe on her hands then firmly grasped it, facing the blade to Xernon.
