Third person's POV
Every member of the Wild Rose slumped on the ground, panting for breath from the fierce fight they had.
Stein led them to the Chief's hall. Janus asked What happened here? The fight didn't go all the way here but why is there a pile of dead bodies here?
Stein answered as he began to ascend, the others following him These bodies here are killed by Kiyan himself.
Everyone simultaneously exclaimed What?!
Dianne said unbelievably This is crazy! He alone did this?
As they reach the top of the pile, they saw a familiar figure in black laying among the corpses. Except for Stein and Alexander who already knew this, all of them are shocked on his condition!
Wilhelmina said He must've made a great fight to defend Chief. They noticed countless cuts on his body and a deep laceration on his stomach which caused his death. They went silent as they mourned for Kiyan.
Elsa went forward and hugged his lifeless body, weeping.
Liliana wiped her free-flowing tears He's gone again, this time, it's real. Everyone, except Wilhelmina, remembered that they thought Kiyan died in the last war against Zenthril Clan.
Master!! Flame landed on Janus' shoulder, when he saw Kiyan's lifeless body, he drooped his head as if expressing sadness Master didn't make it, if only he didn't order me to leave and fought by his side, he would've made it alive.
They all sat on the corpses and Liliana said I doubt it, Flame, it's a good thing that he told you to call us or an even worse situation could've happened.
Alexander added Indeed, what he has done here is the bravest thing no swordsman in the Wild Rose has done before.
Elsa inquired What do you mean, Sir?
Alexander answered Kiyan defended Chief as long as he could and told Flame to tell us that the enemy army is secretly attacking the Clan, he bid enough time for us to arrive here.
