Alexis's POV

We walked along the shore of the beach. Of our beach. Hand in hand and the cooling wind blew through our salty hair as we had gone surfing just earlier. The refreshing water hit our feet and the sounds of waves crashing in the background felt amazing. This was all amazing.

Wow six months later and we're here. Stronger then ever. Head over heels for each other. We also publicly announced our relationship because we both felt ready to do so. Of course we received hate, but we both helped each other look past that and ignore it.

This is the ideal life. The life that I've always wanted. A man by my side. A man that I love with all my heart by my side. And he is, he's right here with me. He didn't leave me this time. He didn't hurt me. He's just been there to love me and hold me. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Grayson's POV

Alexis and I are doing so well. So so well. She seems genuinely happy again and so am I. I'm happiest with her. She's the absolute love of my life. The perfect women. The women I want to spend the rest of my life with. It's only been 6 months of us dating again, but today is the fucking day. I'm proposing to her.

I'm beyond nervous and scared out of my mind. What if she says no? What if she thinks it's too early? There's so many what ifs going through my mind. Many people will say it's too early for me to do this, but to be honest, I would've done it a long fucking time ago if we hadn't have messed up. I knew right from the start that she was the one for me. She perfect. Everything and the only thing I want is her.

We are here at the beach that we first met at. Cheesy as fuck I know, but I want everything to be perfect for her. I know how much these things mean to girls, and this is my girl I'm talking about so I need it to be perfect. It's a really special fucking question after all. I want her to look back at this day and know that it was special just for her. She really does deserve the best. She doesn't know anything right now. Not even a single clue. But I've invited her family and best friend Ally along with my family. We have already set up cameras at a specific spot on the beach. It's really pretty there. Palm trees provide the perfect amount of shade. I'm assuming everyone is already there and ready for me to pop the big question. I gave Ethan the box with the ring inside it and he'll hand it to me when we get there.

After a few long minutes we finally arrive at the spot.

"Gr-grayson what's all this" she nervously says chuckling slightly. I watch her go over to each person and greet them with a hug. Then she turns around and looks at me with confusion smeared all over her beautiful face. Ethan hands me the small ring box and I walk up to her as I feel my hands begin to shake. I watch her bring both her tiny hands and cup her mouth. I know she's fully aware of the situation now. And that only makes me more nervous. Man.

"Alexis, where do I even begin. I love you girl. I love you more then anything. You mean so much to me, more then you'll ever know because words can't begin to express the love I have for you. You make me the happiest man alive. I know we haven't been together long, but I knew you were the one right from the start. I messed up pretty bad and I regret hurting you so much. But I'm beyond thankful that you've forgiven me. I'm beyond thankful that you look past all my mistakes and flaws and still continue to love me the same. I promised you that I'm never going to let you go. So here I am, down on one knee, proposing to the love of my life. Alexis ren, will you marry me" I finally said it I think to myself.

She's balling her eyes out. She's crying so much. I love this women so god damn much that I'm speechless now. Tears are welling up in my eyes.

"Grayson.. YES!" She yells as she jumps in my arms, kissing me endless times on my lips. I wrap my hands around her waist and carry her as her legs wrap around my torso. I'm so so so happy. I've never been happier in my entire life I swear. She said yes.

She fucking said yes.

I place her back onto the warm sand and she reaches out her left hand. I slip the glistening ring onto her fourth finger and kiss her one more time.

I'm going to marry this girl. How the fuck did I get this lucky. After messing up so many times she still gave me another chance and now we're here.

I'm going to marry her.
I'm going to marry Alexis fucking Ren.

Alexis's POV

He slips the beautiful diamond ring onto my fourth finger as tears run down my face. I can't believe it. The man I love. The man I want to be with for the rest of my life just proposed to me. He just asked me to be his wife. I love him. I'm so in love with him.

He cups my cheeks and wipes away the tears with his thumb. I can hear our family and friends cheering in the background, but the only thing I can focus on is him. Grayson.

I'm going to spend the rest of my life with him. And it sounds like the best fucking thing I've heard. Those words fell perfectly out of his mouth, they were absolute music to my ears. How on earth did I get this lucky.

I can not wait to spend my life with him and start our own little family together. Excited is only an understatement. I'm beyond excited and there's no words to explain it.
