Chapter 5

The next day.

The doorbell rang.

Zayn paused the video game and nudged Louis, "Get the door." He said.

"Nope. I won the game." Louis pointed at the game on the screen with a smug face. "You're the loser. So, you get the door."

Zayn groaned and got up from the floor. He opened the door to see Harry beaming at him with cupcakes in his hands. He raised his eyebrow at Harry.

"Hi, Zayn! I made some cupcakes for you. Can I come in?" Harry said in a cheerful tone.

"Umm, sure." Zayn moved aside to let Harry in.

Harry walked inside and saw a blonde haired boy in the couch putting his phone down and looking up at him.

"Hi." Harry smiled. "You must be Louis, right? Sorry, I haven't paid you guys a visit. That's why, today, I made some cupcakes for ya."

"Wow, Harry! You look even better in person than in photos. You are beautiful." Louis said.

"T-Thank you." Harry blushed lightly. Was it a 1D thing to give compliments to the people they meet?

"Awww, now I get why Zayn can't stop talking about you." Louis winked at Harry.

Zayn coughed behind Harry and shooting daggers at Louis.

But, Louis being Louis, smiled mischievously as he looked at Zayn and then back at Harry wiggling his eyebrows. "You know, Zayn used to-"

"I smell something delicious!"

Zayn thanked god that Niall interrupted Louis, walking in with Liam tailing behind him.

Harry looked over at them and beamed. "Hi, boys! I'm Harry, your neighbor, and I have brought ya cupcakes."

"Hi, Harry! I'm Liam and this is Niall." Liam said with a warm smile on his cute puppy eyed face while Niall picked up a cupcake and took a bite.

He moaned at the delicious taste. "Oh my god, Zayn was right! You make the best cupcakes in the world, Harry!"

Harry smiled brightly. "Thank you."

They hung out for a bit before Harry decided to go home and get ready for his date with Nick.

"Can you stop drooling over Harry for a second?" Louis teased once Harry left.

"What? I'm not!" Zayn defended.

"Yes, you are." Liam nodded his head.

"You couldn't take your eyes off him since he got here." Niall chipped in while taking another bite of the cupcake.

The doorbell rang again.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm gonna get the door." Zayn huffed and hurriedly walked away from his friends who hadn't stopped teasing him since Harry left.
