Everything Broken (A 5SOS Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

Emma's POV      

  Oh my gosh! I'm going on tour with 5 Seconds Of Summer! Hopefully they will make funny YouTube video's with me. Especially Micheal... Ugh why do I like him so much?! Suddenly my thoughts are interrupted.

        "Emma," says Catherine, "Don't you love this tour bus?!"

        "Yes, it is so cool," I say back.

        "I'm so happy we could experience this together, especially since you have helped me through so much," says Catherine.

*Flashback Two Years Ago*

I finally got my permit, I'm 16! I'm driving with my mom and we are both jamming out to Taylor Swift, our favorite singer. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a skinny, pale figure by the side of the road. I pull over with my mom questioning my motives. The figure, now clearly a girl, skrinks back. I get out of my car and walk over to the girl. I go up to her and say, "Please don't be afraid, I want to help you."

        "I can't be helped, I'm too broken," the girl replies.

        "Everyone deserves a second chance, no matter how hard it is to put the pieces back together," I retort back. The girl agrees and I ask her for her name.

        "My name is Catherine," the girl replies.

        "Well Catherine, how about you stay at my house untill you can find somewhere else to stay."

        "Thank you, but are you sure you want to add extra baggage?"

        "You aren't baggage, I'm doing this because I want to." Catherine smiles as we walk to the car. I can see the worry in my mom's face, but I know in my heart I made the right decision. 

*End of Flashback*

        "Yeah," I agree,"I'll never forget that night when I made my best friend."

        "I can never thank you enough for what you have done," she replies, "You pulled me out of the dark."

        "Well taking me on tour with 5SOS is thanking me enough," I say. We are interrupted by the boys. 

        "Ugh, you guys are taking forever! What movie are we watching?" Micheal complains. Catherine and I look at each other and scream,

        "PITCH PERFECT!"

         All the boys grown as I make my way to the kitchen to make popcorn and get drinks. 

*Halfway through the movie*

        While sitting next to Catherine, I can see Ashton staring at Catherine. I move over a bit so Ashton will fit in between us. I motion for him to come over and he quickly understands and plops down next to Catherine. Behind him, Catherine mouths a silent thank you. For the rest of the movie, they are grinning ear to ear. The rest of the boys are being rowdy and Michael keeps looking at me and joking around, does that mean anything?! I reminisce back to my converstion with Catherine. She looks so content; I hope nothing ever happens to change this.
