Chapter 6

*SUPRISE UPDATE FOR ASHTON'S BIRTHDAY*

Emma's POV:

        Today, I woke up early to pick out an outfit for Catherine and I. Catherine has an interview with the boys. I can tell she is really nervous beacuse of yesterday. I go into her closet. It is so messy in here! Looks like this will take a while.

        I finally find the perfect outfit for Catherine! I picked out a floral high-low skirt and a white t-shirt. I pair that with brown sandals. Now for the task of waking up Catherine.

        "Catherine, wake up, you have your interview today," I say while shaking her slightly. She immediately shoots up. That was easy! Oh gosh now she looks super nervous.

        "Oh no! I didn't plan an outfit last night! I'm going to make a huge fool of myself. I don't think I will be able to do this. Plus I have a date with Ashton tonight! If I make a fool of myself, he won't want to go on the date with me," says Catherine. 

        "Catherine, calm down! I picked out your outfit and Ashton is a sweetheart; he would never stand you up. Just get ready for the interview, don't worry," I say trying to calm her down. 

        "Thank you Emma! What would I do without you?" she questions.

        "I don't know," I say back smiling. Now it is time to pick out an outfit for me! I pick out a pair of purple shorts with a teal shirt. I wear the black lace Keds from the Taylor Swift Collection. I hope Catherine has calmed down by now.

        "Catherine, are you ok now?" I ask. I don't hear a response for a couple of minutes. I go to the bathroom door and I am about to knock but all I hear is heavy breathing. I am kind of nervous but I walk inside the bathroom. All I see when I walk in is Catherine in a ball. She is silently crying and breathing really heavy. I don't know what is going on, this has never happened before. I run and get Ashton.

        "Ashton, I don't know what is happening with Catherine; she is crying and breathing really heavy. Come help me," I say nervously. We walk towards the bathroom and Ashton goes in. When he sees Catherine, he goes to comfort her. 

        "Catherine, what's wrong?" he asks. 

        "I'm s-so scared," Catherine chokes out.

        "Catherine, the interview will go great because you are amazing, talented, and beautiful," Ashoton says while hugging her.

        "Are y-you sure?" she asks.

        "Yes, I am positive," Ashton says with so much love. 

        "Thank you Ashton," Catherine says while calming down. 

        "Anytime," says Ash with his signture smile, "We actually have to leave for the interview now, are you ready?"

        "Yes," she says with a smile.

        I hear Ashton say, "By the way, you look beautiful." This kept a smile on Catherines face for the whole car ride.
