Emma's POV:
The next morning, I wake up early and head to the kitchen to make Catherine, the boys, and the rest of the team breakfast. I pull out eggs, bacon, pancake mix, and start to prepare the meal when I hear footsteps behind me.
"So do you know how Ashton and Catherine's date went?" I turn around to see Mikey, wearing a sweater and a pair of sweatpants, waiting behind me.
"We didn't really talk, but from what I saw of her after, I'm guessing it went pretty well."
"That's good, becuase I ship them. I'm calling them: Cashton!"
"Michael Clifford, do not tell me you know fangirl lingo!"
"I do, so do you need help with breakfast?" So we spend the rest of the time arguing over blueberries or chocolate chips, and occasionally pelting each other with the pancake mix. When everyone comes filing in at the scent or freshly-cooked bacon and pancakes, Michael and I are standing around like fools trying to wipe off the powder on our faces. After we fill our stomachs with ridicuculous amounts of food, the boys head off to a photoshoot, and Catherine and I get dressed and head out to shop and eat lunch before getting ready for their next concert. After shopping, we go to a small restuarant by the stores.
"So, how did your date with Ashton go last night?" I ask.
"It was amazing! He was such a gentleman. Do you think he'll ask me out again? I mean, I don't want to be clingy or anything." Catherine looks really hopeful, so I quickly send a text message to Ashton.
"So is there another date in you and Catherine's future???:)" After a couple of minutes he replies:
"Of course! I think I'm going to ask her out again tonight. Maybe we can go somewhere after the concert!"
I quickly send an okay and we get up to do a little more shopping before we head back. If my date with Michael goes well tommorow, maybe me, Catherine, Ashton, and Michael can go on a double date. I'll run that by Catherine. Soon, our arms are sore from holding shopping bags, and we take a taxi back to where the hotel is. I help Catherine find yet another outfit to wear for tonight, and we settle on a hot pink maxi skirt, white lace tank top, gold locket necklace, and chunky white wedges. When the boys come back, Catherine and I are waiting in the lobby so that we can head to the venue.
"Wow, Catherine, you look beautiful." Ashton remarks, and Catherine blushes. I feel a sense of pride, maybe I should be a wingman professionally...
"You don't look too bad either. Emma." Michael smirks. I smile and laugh to myself. What an idiot, but I suppose that's part of his charm. We get in the van and drive to the venue. When we get there, the boys go off to get dressed and help set up the stage.
Luke's POV:
When we're getting ready, I'm sitting with Michael while his hair is getting done, and yet again he starts talking about Emma. It's kind of cute, actually, because he's asking me all sorts of questions about their date, and he's always changing it up. One minute he's taking her out for a movie, and then it's a picnic.
"I think I finally found the perfect date, Luke..." Michael starts to describe date #8 when I hear somone whispering my name. I turn around to see Calum standing by the door, motioning for me to follow him. We walk down a hall until we're secluded from everyone.
"Listen, Luke, I've been itching to tell someone about this, and I need your advice." Calum looks nervous. In fact, ever since Catherine got here he hasn't been his usual self. "I like Catherine, and I know she really likes Ashton but I can't help it." Oh no. This could cause problems. I mean, I can't deny that oth of the girls are pretty, but I don't see either of them in a romantic way, especially since they like two of my best friends.
"I think you just have to get over it. Catherine obviously likes Ashton, and you're just going to have to accept that. I hate to be this blunt, but they're happy, and you will be too when you meet the right girl." I'm explaining this as gently as I can, and Calum seems to think it over and just nods.
"I guess that's what I have to do. Thanks." We head back to sit with Mikey and Ashton, and soon, everything feels normal again.
Catherine's POV:
Emma, the boys, and I are just sitting around and talking when Emma gets an idea.
"Guys, let's do a video!" I immediately agree. Ever since the tour started, Emma hasn't really been checking up on her YouTube channel, something she normally does every day.
"You're a YouTuber?" Calum asks, and Emma responds by whipping out her phone and pulling up her page, which has her many videos ranging from Q&A'S to funny challenges. Emma gets out a small camera she keeps in her purse, and tweets to her followers to send in questions for all of us to answer.
After a cople of funny questions, Emma scrolls down, grins, and asks a question from some follower. "All right, this is from JessicaDirectioner: Are Ashton and Catherine dating? I saw a picture of them out together." I immediately shift in my seat, until Ashton replies with a grin.
"I mean, I really like her, and we did go out on a date. What do you say, Catherine, would you like to be "dating"? Did he just say that? Am I dreaming? I think of a good way to say yes.
"That seems like a good word. Dating. So, to answer your question, yes." Everyone except Ashton and I laughs and a chorus of "oooohhhs" rings out. I'm too happy to care. Fame and romance. Could life get any better?
One thing was for sure, it was going to get a lot worse.
*The Next Day
Catherine's POV:
Emma is frantically running around trying to put an outfit together. Tonight is her date with Michael and it's a surprise, so for the past hour she's been throwing around various outfits, saying things like, "Does this one look too fancy?" and "Is this a good color?" I have to calm her down and finally my eyes lay on the perfect pair of shorts. Teal lace. I show them to Emma, and she grins. We decide to pair them with a sheer, long-sleeved white top and a teal statement bubble necklace. I curl her hair, braid a small section in the front, and put on a subtle amount of makeup. Just in time, Emma throws on a pair of white sandals as Michael, looking incredibly handsome, arrives to pick her up. I give her a thumbs up as they head out the door.
Emma's POV:
As I get in the taxi I still don't know where we're going. But, when we start to drive by a wooded area, I have an idea of our destination. We stop in a parking lot, and Mikey leads my down a small trail to a huge, beautiful lake. He sets up a small blanket and opens the basket he brought. It's full of lemonade, salad, spaghetti, and tiramisu, all of my favorite foods.
"What do you think?" Michael asks.
"It's amazing. You really know how to sweep a girl off her feet." I laugh.
"I'm just returning the favor. You took my breath away when I first met you." He smiles a goofy grin, and I can't help but feel giddy inside. We spend the rest of the date talking, laughing, and sharing a great meal together. By the end of the night, we're both prolonging our exit as long as possible, until we both feel sleepy and full.
"You know, I had a great time tonight." I give him a quick peck on the cheek as we head up the hill towards the car.
"Our next date will be even better." Michael replies.
"I have high expectations."
Who knew my expectations would be exceeded not only with the date, but with him during a time when we were bpth put to the test.
A/N: updating a little early! Hope you enjoy:)
