The coming months weren't easy, but they weren't the worst time of your life either. You and Namjoon grew ever closer, along with you becoming fast friends with the rest of BTS (most notably Jin, you loved his sense of humour so much, he was so endearing). Dealing with hate comments and navigating suddenly being a public figure was a little odd, but you dealt with it as it rolled in.

In fact, being public meant steps in your relationship had to go a lot faster than you had initially wanted. It didn't mean that you didn't catch up on all of the lost time of going on dates and such, in fact it meant that those dates were all the more enjoyable.

You had had a few instances where you had even been recognised in the street, but luckily everyone who had approached you those times were nothing but congratulatory and wonderful to you. You were grateful for the support, but you couldn't help but feel bitter at how you wished you had had more time to yourselves before it all went public.

Namjoon held similar feelings to you but he also felt that it meant he never had to truly confess to you, which he was grateful for in some capacity. He loved you and that was all that mattered to him in the end. He only hoped you felt the same.

(A/N) - Thank you very much for reading my first work on here (although I've been writing fanfiction on different accounts and platforms for much longer) it means a lot. My next work is something I look forward to and I hope you anticipate as much as I do. Thank you!
