brendon stuttered a little as he held the mic in his hand trying to talk clearly.

"ryan,i know you're here and-oh god that sounded really creepy. but that's not the point. listen,ryan. i know i hurt you and i shouldn't have accepted to do what i did. but i'm in a way,glad i did. even if yesterday was the end of it all,i'm glad i got to spend all those seconds with you. i don't regret a single thing. you've made me so happy,so happy ryan. words can't describe how incredibly sorry i am,i wish i would've told you. then,i could've had the chance to tell you how i really feel. you're so ethereal ryan ross. you're absolutely perfect in every way,you could make anyone happy. you've filled my life with happiness and as much as you may hate me,please know that..that i..i love you. i love you ryan ross,i'm sorry for everything. and-"

but before brendon could finish that sentence,ryan was running up to the stage like a mad man. brendon  thought that this was the end of it all and that ryan would slap him or worse.

but brendon was completely wrong,his sentence was actually cut off by ryan taking his face and kissing it very gently and lovingly. it wasn't a quick lust filled kisses that you give during sex,it's those kisses that mean "oh shit i'm in love." and it was true. they were both in love with each other.

the two stayed at the front of the stage,kissing and forgiving each other. brendon couldn't have been happier,it's like the whole world stopped. but when they finally pulled away,everyone was clapping and cheering them on.

"i love you too brendon." ryan whispered in his ear. "i always have,and i always will." ryan would've never gotten through life without brendon,but he didn't want to be hurt either. but now he knew it all,brendon did love him back.

brendon took ryans hand and ran off the stage with him,running to his car.

"well,i bought you something too and i really hope that you like it." brendon said as he opened the passenger door so ryan could get in. brendon got inside the drivers seat and pulled something out of his pocket. it was a red velvet box with white ribbon tied around it.

he gave it to ryan very gently,and ryan almost started to cry.

he opened the box and no,it wasn't an engagement ring,but rather a promise ring.

"ryan ross,from this day forward,i promise to always protect you. i promise to forever love you. i promise to keep you safe. i promise that i will never betray you. i promise that i'll always hug and kiss you. i promise to give you all the love you deserve. but most importantly,i promise that one day,i am going to marry you." ryan started to cry tears of joy,burying his hands in his face. "i-i..i love you so o-oh m-my god!" ryan grabbed brendon's face and kissed it with all the love he could.

"you have officially made me the happiest man on earth." ryan said in between kisses.

brendon took ahold of ryans hand gently and put the ring on him,gasping at how beautiful it looked on him.

"you look beautiful,beautiful." brendon and ryan ended up laughing,but then they both sighed happily. everything was perfect. they were both happy and now,they could kiss at school without having to worry if someone will see.

a little game can take you very far in life.
