Chapped Lips

*Bens Pov*

Reys presence was beginning to disappear and I couldn't tell if it was her distrust in me or if she was actually leaving. I tossed and turned in my bed until I gave up. I decided to check on Rey. I know she wouldn't want to see me but it would give me some closure.

I opened the door and walked over to the bed. After sitting down, I went to find Reys face, but she wasn't there. Neither was her presence. It was just me and a cold room. I sprinted to my room and quickly dressed. I tried to keep my composure but it was impossible, she has to stay with me, even if it meant giving up the first order. I slid down a hall and called for the alarm.

*Reys Pov*

Shit. Red lights filled the hanger with an alarming sound. I watched from behind a small crate as  stromtroopers scrambled to attend to their orders.

One by one, after they left in search for I'm guessing me, I sneaked across to a small TIE fighter. I wasn't completely sure how to use one but it can't be much different from the falcon.

I crawled in as my eyes danced around the controls. Some things were familiar and others were slightly different.

"REY!" Oh no. His black cape followed as he practically stomped towards the ship. At least five stormtroopers were beside him and his knights shouldn't be far off.

"It's too late, I'm going!" I called out. Everything was becoming a blur when I turned the ship on and began to steer it.

Blaster shots reached my ears and I scrambled to get out there just in time. I had no idea where I was or where to go but at least I was out of reach.

I crashed onto a planet and I began to choke on the air. It was cold and unforgiving. I wrapped my arms around myself in an attempt to warm up.

My teeth were chattering and I could tell a storm was on its way, the air showed similar signs to a sand storm. After some time past, I was certain I was not going to make it, a small hut appeared in the thick of the snow. I picked my pace up and gradually made my way to the door.

*Bens Pov*

"Dammit! Track the ship!" She left. I knew she made an attempt to tell me something but I didn't hear it.

"Sir, the ship crashed on a near by planet."

"Prepare my ship." Everyone had been scattering around the room.

"Lost your precious Empress?" Hux came up from behind me with a smug look on his face.

"I don't want to believe that you helped her, that would be an order of 5287 for punishment." I snapped back and his face held a streak of fear.

"N-no my Lord. I would never." I rolled my eyes as he walked away.

"Supreme Leader, your ship is ready."I walked over to the hanger and made my departure. Rey had crashed on a small planet called Cania, it has barely any kind life forms, just snow and blizzards. Not good for a girl that has spent her whole life on a desert planet.

*Reys Pov*

"Oh yes! You are Rey! The last jedi!" A little girl approached me with wide eyes as her mother let me inside.

"Thank you for letting me stay here, I shouldn't be too long."

"Nonsense." The mother handed me a blanket and a warm drink of some sort.

"What brought you here?" The little girl was holding a small doll while making herself comfortable in the seat next to me.

"I'm hiding." I smiled down at her and her mouth dropped open.
