PLOT:
Ella Hyland has known the Blossom family for her entire life. She's grown up in Cheryl's shadow, and often, she wishes she never met the redhead. Cheryl enjoys bossing Ella around and manipulates her to do whatever she wants, including kissing boys like Reggie Mantle, who doesn't treat Ella the way she wishes to.
However, when Veronica Lodge moves into town, Ella sees this as an opportunity to escape from Cheryl. The girl is almost about to have a meltdown on Ella after the death of her brother, and she doesn't know how hard the redhead will fight to avenge him.
Ella befriends Veronica and shows Betty Cooper a new side of her that no one's seen before. Everyone, including Archie Andrews, is surprised to see the girl is no longer adorning a redhead by her side or acting like a quiet pushover.
Ella Hyland is a new woman, and she can't wait for the town of Riverdale to see it.
SUMMARY: Ella Hyland is a rich, sophisticated girl who's lived next to Cheryl Blossom for her whole life. As they grew up, Ella learned to keep her mouth shut around her friend and allow her to do all of the talking. She's never been a girl who likes being shoved into the spotlight, and that's where Cheryl spots her weaknesses and targets them. Ella is known around Riverdale for being Cheryl's sidekick and Reggie's 'girlfriend,' but she doesn't want to be dubbed as such anymore. She wants to be her own person and learn her way around high school without Cheryl's influence. So, after the ultimate death of Jason Blossom and Cheryl's weird actions afterwards, she comes to school, free of her cheerleading uniform, and decides to make a name for herself.
