Chapter 7

I stayed quiet the whole way there and just looked out the window while they talked. The extra person in the car suddenly made me not want to go out anymore. Big surprise there!

"Addy! Ads!"

"What? Sorry Naï, just daydreaming." I realised they were both staring at me and the taxi had stopped.

"Time to go, come on Ads!" She said while paying the driver.

Anaïs got out first leaving me and Noel in the car. "After you Addy!" He said with a smirk and a hint of cheekiness.

"Uh...thanks?" This was becoming weird now and I started to overthink every single thi...

I felt a slap on my bum. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! Did he really just do that?

Luckily, Anaïs didn't see but when I gave him a quick glance, that smug little smirk had grew wider and my red cheeks didn't help to hide my embarrassment.

We got into the café and sat down with Noel to my left and Anaïs opposite us. To say it was awkward would be a major understatement but it wasn't like Anaïs noticed since she talked for all three of us. I honestly don't know how we became friends, we're the complete opposite. She's everything I wanted to be but wasn't.

"So dad, when do Sara and the boys get back?" That soon caught my attention. I hadn't even thought about them and that made me feel horrible.

"They should be back tomorrow night if it works out." He said not phased at all while I was panicking.

"I'll be back in a sec...I..I just need to go to the bathroom." 

"Ok, sure! Do you want me to order for you?"

Yeah plz Naï, thanks!"

As soon as I got into the cubicle, all I could feel was butterflies. Terrible butterflies of guilt. Why is this happening to me? He doesn't seem to understand how I feel or he does but just doesn't care. There's so many people involved that I just can't hurt. Anaïs. Sonny. Donovan. Sara. I just need to move on from whatever this was or wasn't. I don't know.

I calmed myself down and went back to them but when I opened the door I got an unexpected surprise. There he was waiting for me.

"Can we talk now? Or are you going to make up another excuse because I don't think I can wait any longer!" Those bright blue eyes staring straight at me, begging me but I couldn't give in.

"I can't Noel. I'm sorry but Anaïs is waiting and I'm not having this conversation with you. Whatever this was is over and we can just forget about it now." I said what I thought and didn't care if I sounded cold. I'd had enough already.

"You can't just say that, what happened the other night wasn't a mistake and I shouldn't have freaked when you told me you hadn't done IT before. I'm sorry."

His puppy dog eyes were making it so much harder than it had to be.

"You can't honestly mean that! You have a wife for God's sake!"

"I know and it's fucked up but I can't get you out of my head and I think you feel the same way. I want to fix this." He reaches for my hand and I don't know why but I didn't stop him. I couldn't, this is what I wanted to hear but wouldn't let myself.

"Of course I feel the same but this situation is so complicated and I don't know what to do Noel!"

"I want to try and we can keep it quiet for now. I just need you and I don't want to stop this."

"Ok but no one can know, at least not yet. We don't even know if this is going to work yet, I mean what if we end up hating each other and everyone finds out and I lose my best friend. Oh shit Noel, what if...."

I was cut off with a forceful kiss. His hands went to my waist and mine went to his neck. It was the perfect way to stop me talking. It felt so right and I melted into him. I'd never felt like that before and I wanted it to last forever. But all good things must come to an end and we parted.

"We should get back now before Anaïs starts looking for us." He said while stroking my cheek and gazing into my eyes.

"Oh... yeah we should." So we headed back to the table and throughout lunch I had the biggest smile on my face all because of him. We'd look at each other often and smile. Then when we had to leave, we got in the cab and went back to their house.

"Come on Ads! Let's watch some tv before I have to go."

"Wait, where are you going Naï!"

"To mum's, I'm just going to check on ziggy and Oscar, just to see how they're all doing. You can come if you want. They haven't seen you in a while."

I was going to agree when Noel gave me a look. He stood behind Anaïs and mouthed 'don't go'.

"That's ok, I have some coursework I really need to finish otherwise my teacher will actually kill me!"

"Alright, are you gonna wait here while I go? I'll be a couple hours tops."

"Sure!"

I was looking forward to being on my own with Noel. It would give us chance to properly talk.

So guys it's been a while and I'm sorry but I didn't know what to write. I finally got inspiration when I went to see Noel and blossoms. It was amazing seeing them live and I started having ideas. I was thinking of bringing blossoms into it so look out for that soon.
Also I was thinking of writing a Gallagher imagine book because it was requested so keep your eyes open for that. Thank you Xx
