(Y/N)'s POV

Life with Loki wasn't actually that bad. We got to know each other this past week, and I looked forward to our walks around the city. He was mischievous, and broken and sarcastic. But he was also caring. He also was hilarious and made me laugh. He helped me through these dark times.

"Loki you're pretty great." I smiled at him. He looked at me, with an arched brow, perplexed at my sudden compliment.

"My dear, why would you say that?" He smiled.

I shrugged and chuckled. "Just you. I've been thinking it for a while now. I'm..." I smiled at him. "...glad I'm here with you."

His eyes widened. Loki looked around before grabbing my hand, and dragging me through the city before we made it to a small alley. "(Y/N). I'd like to question some things with you."

"Fire away bud." I said, finger gunning him at the pun I made.

He chuckled and looked away. I think it was hard for him to take any of this seriously. His green eyes pierced into mine and I felt my heart race.

My cheeks got warm as I stared at him. He was really attractive. And great. I'm so many ways.

"Loki, I uh..." I was slowly moving closer to him.

"Yes (Y/N)?" He whispered.

I closed the space between us, reaching my hand up to his hair and gripping it while his palm gripped my cheek.

I didn't know if this was dependence that made me love him. Or infatuation. Admiration. Need. Want. Desire.

I loved him.

If he was here, I was okay.

We pulled away and I stared into his emerald orbs, the happiest girl in the universe.

"So, Loki, how long have you been wanting to do that because it's been killing me." I admitted bashfully.

He rubbed his thumb on my cheek. "I've had an incredible yearning for you, (Y/N)."

"So what did you wanna ask me about?" I asked, holding his hand against my cheek.

He smiled. "The grandmaster is having a party tonight. I was wondering if you'd like to go. You don't have to, but I'd love the company. And the chance to show you off."

My heart beat extremely fast as I nodded. "I'd love to."
