Loki's POV

"Come on, (Y/N). Let's see him."

"Coming!" She says nonchalantly and jumps up, eating an apple.

"Remember what I said about apples." I smirk.

She arches a brow and returns a smile. "What makes you think I didn't keep that in mind?"

I coughed on air and she howled in laughter.

"You think it wise to tease a God?"

She just smirked. It was her defense when she didn't have a smart comeback but still wanted to show some flare of defiance in her eye. "Did I ever tell you I kind of miss soda and hamburgers?"

I looked at her in shock. "Soda...?"

She chuckled. "You're not an earthling unless you've had a taste of fast food. That junk is like textbook earth food."

"Ah. You really do miss earth, don't you?" I asked sadly.

"Nah. Just the food. And the ability to kind of beat people up. That never made Strange happy though."

Strange. That wizard who bested me by making me fall in an abyss for thirty minutes.

"Who was Strange?" I ask. I'm not jealous or anything just... curious.

"He was my teacher. Taught me some basic magic. Other then my fire abilities. Taught me illusions and such. Did I not tell you this yet?" She looked embarrassed. "I'm sorry aha, it slipped my mind."

"No don't apologize. If you ever wanted to continue your studies, I am the master of magic." I smirked.

She smiled one of her admirable and sweet, gentle smiles. "I'd like that."

I smirked. "Now let's go meet Goldilocks, shall we?"

Hand in hand, I conjured our consciences into the prisoners cell where Thor was kept.

"Loki. And lady (Y/N)? Nice to see you." Thor smiled at her and then deadpan glared at me.

"Hello, brother. How are you enjoying your stay?" I say in a chipper tone. Thor picks up a rock and throws it at me, which it phases through of course. "Cmon you didn't really think I'd come down her right? It's disgusting!" I joked, which caused (Y/N) to snicker and tap my arm.

"Come on I couldn't compromise my position with the grandmaster! It's better for your safety—" and I looked down at (Y/N), to see her watching me. When she realized I had caught her stare, she blushed and looked away. "...and hers." I glared at Thor. "I need to stay on his good side for the future."

"Wait, why would you care for protecting Lady (Y/N)?"

We both stayed silent.

"...have you two gotten closer?"

(Y/N) and I shared a glance.

"...what did you two do within those few weeks we've been separated?"

"Thor."

"What? I'm just glad to know that while Asgard and I are in danger from Hela, you two have managed to become heavily cozy with each other." Thor snapped.

"T-That's not fair!" (Y/N) exclaimed. "It's not our fault. There's no way out of here, Thor!"

"Or have you just given up, Lady (Y/N). Just like you gave up looking for your father, Sutr, correct?"

(Y/N)'s expression fell. She looked broken. I glared at Thor, and if looks could kill he would have been flayed alive.

"I've heard the Grandmaster's champion is quite the force. No one's ever beaten him." I grabbed (Y/N). "I've placed a fair bet against you. Don't disappoint me." And then I let us fade from the room.

"...he had a point, Loki."

"No, he didn't. He was just upset and trying to manipulate you."

"..." (Y/N) stayed silent for a bit after that. It broke my heart. "What was he like...?"

"Who?"

"Sutr... my father. I'm not very well aquatinted with Norse mythology."

"...Sutr was a demon. He was originally struck down by Odin, but apparently he wasn't actually dead. He is destined to destroy Asgard. So, Thor knocked the crown off of his head, extinguishing him. He's locked away on Asgard, unable to reform as of the current time."

"...huh. Interesting." (Y/N) looked down. "What if somehow I'll be consumed by my father's destiny, and try to destroy Asgard myself?"

I blinked in shock. "(Y/N)...?"

She stared at me, her (E/C) eyes empty. "I'm sorry, Loki. I'm so sensitive sometimes."

I held her in my arms. "And I love you even in these times. My concern for you grows so I can keep you happy."

"Loki I just want to live in peace with you. But what if... we're not meant to be. What if the love I feel for you isn't enough for reality to let us be happy."

"What do you mean—" She pushed herself off of me.

"I'm going to our room." And she walked off.

I had no idea what to do, which was a first for me.
