I stepped into my dorm room seeing a panicky Alexander. I furrowed my brow. "Where were you?" Alexander asked frantically. I gave him a confused look. "The same place I go every three months, CVS to refill my medication." I held up the small white paper bag.
Alexander oh'd and exhaled a sigh of relief. "I just... I'm not used to you leaving so early in the day." I nodded. "Oh, so you mean to say you quite fancy my presence?" I instantly regretted my words, why would I say something so flirtatious? Goddammit Aaron! Get something right for once in your life!
"Woah, I like this new attitude, where has he been~?" I blushed deeply. "Aaron, are you insinuating that you may want to take this somewhere later down the line~?" I had literally reached the human extent of blood rushing to my face, so much to the point where I'm pretty sure I felt a nosebleed coming on.
I panicked and went with my instinct. That was to just shut the fuck up. "Aaron, darling~?" I looked at him, refusing to open my mouth to speak. "Don't be embarrassed, I feel the same way." I had no clue how to react. "S-so do y-you want to go see a movie or-or something?" I finally asked while fidgeting with my shirt.
He's gonna say no. he doesn't ACTUALLY care about you. Why would you-
"Yes, how about I get dressed now and we can go then. Sound good, Lovely?" I nodded. Alexander walked away, giving me time to check my calander and see that classes started tomorrow. I groaned before putting my phone away, then sitting on the couch.
I opened the small bag, viewing the pill bottles. Apparently I've just been diagnosed with anxiety. Brilliant, just what I needed, more problems; more things wrong with me. Dexedrine for my ADD and now Celexa for my anxiety. I stared at the bottles of pills in either hands.
Something is really... really wrong with me. I'm obviously a really shitty person. Alexander doesn't love me, I know that. Aaron, stop thinking you could ever be loved or cared about, it's complete and utter bullshit. No one - and I mean no one - can ever love you. Stop wasting everyone's time—
"Aaron, you alright?" I looked up at Alexander and nodded, fighting back tears. "No, you aren't, your eyes are glossy..." Alex sat down next to me and placed his hand underneath my chin. I blushed deeply. "Aaron, what's wrong?" I sniffled. "It's really nothing, Alexander." Alex looked down then back up at me. "I thought you only took one pill." I nodded.
"I just got diagnosed with something else... It's unimportant really, just another pill. I don't know why my doctors even bother." I moved away, putting the bottles on the floor and standing up. "What's new?" Alex asked. "Anxiety." Alexander stood up and wrapped his arms around my waist, making me blush even more. "It's alright, Aaron. I'm here." I nodded.
"So, how about that movie and dinner date, hm?" I smiled. "There's my favorite man, c'mon, lets head out. I'll carry your meds, Love." I nodded, smile fading slowly. "Hey, smile. It looks good on you." I smiled and nervously looked down. "Let's head off, alright?" I nodded. "Alright."
~Time skip~
I smiled, looking around as Alexander ordered popcorn. I stood, playing with my sleeve as my eyes landed back on Alexander. "Ready to go?" I nodded. Alexander slipped his hand into mine as we began to walk. I blushed deeply, completely failing to stay cool.
Once we got into the auditorium, we sat in the back. I truthfully didn't really focus on the movie, I kept zoning out, looking at Alexander. "Want your meds?" he whispered to me. I shook my head. "Alright." Alex turned back to the movie, but I never stopped paying attention to Alexander.
~Yes, another time skip~
I was laying on my bed when a knock arouse to my door. "Yes?" The door opened to reveal Alexander. "We have our first classes tomorrow, apparently I have most of my classes with you. I also figured I'd let you know that it's time for you to take your pills." I sighed while sitting up. "Thanks." Alexander sat on my bed, wrapping his arms around my waist. "What's wrong?" I shook my head. "Nothing, Alexander." "Aaron, please tell me what's wrong, Sweetie." I tensed up.
"It's just... There's so much wrong with me and I don't have control in my life anymore, everything's been thrown out of wack and I...I don't know." Alexander kissed my cheek. "You have so much control Aaron. I promise." I shook my head and closed my eyes, just trying to take in the moment. "I don't even have control of my personal life." Alexander sighed. "You have control with me." I opened my eyes, trying to ensure that this was real. "W-what?"
"You have control with and over me." I furrowed my brow. "Over you?" Alexander nodded. "Mhm." I turned around seeing honesty in Alexander's eyes. "I-What? What do you mean by over you?" Alexander released his hold on me and held my hands. "Any way you could ever want. You could tell me to drop every friend I have and I would do it, just for you, Aaron." I looked down at our hands then back up at Alexander. "Alexander, will you be my boyfriend?" Alexander's eyes lit up and he smiled. Alexander nodded and kissed me abruptly. I melted into it swiftly, and he placed a hand on my cheek, I felt this odd feeling shoot through me, something similar to what I felt while I was with Theodosia.
I panicked and tensed up, Alexander briefly pulled away. "I just want to show you off to the world, and tell everyone that I'm yours." I paid intense attention to the fact that he called himself mine and not me his. Alexander picked me up bridal style. "Aaron, I want to travel the world with you." I felt my face heat up. "W-What?" He nodded and walked to his bedroom.
"I've always wanted to travel the world with my lover, with my husband—" "Wait, I-I never said anything about marriage.." Alexander walked into his room. "I know, but I want to marry you one day, it's something I've thought about for a really long time... I want to really spend time with you." Alexander laid me down and then got on top of me, staring into my eyes.
"Don't be so nervous babe, I'm not going to do anything, if it puts you in more control you can be where I am." I nodded without contemplation. Alexander moved off of me. I hesitantly moved to sit on my knees as Alexander laid in the center of the bed. I did exactly what he did, unsure what to do next. Alex giggled.
"Relax, rest, do what you want." I bit my lip and got more comfortable, our chests touching. "I... I love you." I whispered to him. He smiled. "I love you too Aaron, with all my heart. I really do." I leaned closer. "Can I... Can I do something?" He nodded. I kissed his cheek, showered him in kisses and affection, this was like a stress reliever for me.
I could get used to this.
