A bright flash of light scared the living shit out of me, causing me to involintarily jerk up into a sitting position. "You're awake..." I heard a familiar voice, bringing me to the realization that I'm not fuckin dead. I'm still alive.
SHITTTTT.
"Aaron..?" I looked at Alexander. "You remember me right?" I nodded. "Yeah, you're my boyfriend. How couldn't I?" Alexander hugged me tightly.
"I-I think I believe in a god now.." I furrowed my brow as Alex pulled out of the hug. "What?" He nodded. "I did something outragous while you were in that three day long coma." I shook my head in shock. "I'm sorry - What?" Alex nodded. "Yeah, your friends came to visit you. I prayed. I did, I'm not particularly proud of that but it... It worked." I was still extremely confused.
"Sorry, coma brain. What did you pray for?" I asked. "You to wake up, to pull through with this. Seeing as I'm your medical contact uh... I really did think some shit was put into our favor." He held my hand. I just then realized an IV was connected to my wrist. "What happened?" I asked.
"Well, I found you, you were pretty out of it. I called an ambulace, you were presumed in a comatose state, possibly having antograte amnesia off of the scans but uh, besides that, nothing." I nodded. "I'm sorry." Alexander looked confused. "For?" I sighed. "This. I'm really weak, I know, a few notes and taunts for my ex pushed me way too far off the deep end and.. I understand if you no longer want to be with me." Alexander took me by surprise, kissing me randomly. I kissed back, only to be met with him pulling away.
"If you can't see anything beautiful about yourself, I think we need better mirrors. Maybe you need to stare a little longer. Because there's something inside of you that kept you going, despite everyone who told you that you couldn't do it, that you weren't capable of being loved or cared about. I want to build something with you Aaron, would you like that?" I took a shaky breath. "I don't know... I just- I love you so much but I..." The right words just couldnt seem to come to me.
"Aaron, you have gamophobia. It's the fear of commitment. You just need to trust yourself and me, alright?" I nodded. "We can get married if you want--"
"I don't know if I want to get married just yet." Alexander nodded. "Thats alright, we can give it some years, I'll let you warm up to me a bit more and we'll take it from there, huh?" I nodded and smiled. "Hey?" I hummed.
"I love you, and I don't say it enough." I blushed lightly. "I love you too."
"Aaron, are people mean to you all the time?" I shook my head. "People tend to be quite nice to me, why?" He shrugged. "Nothing. Just curious who's ass I'd have to kick." Alex kissed me gently. This was more patient than our usual kisses, he seemed more passionate about this one. It lasted about thirty seconds before we broke. "I tell you, wait for things, the stars align, sweetheart." I commented quietly. Alexander giggled. "You're right Aaron.
"The stars do align."
