Alagrettos's POV
Run...RUN! was all I could hear over the shouts of the towns people. They were after me, and weren't gonna let me go easily.
what the hell do they want me for? I repetitively asked myself, I wasn't sure what was happening. But something tells me I didn't wanna know.
My whole body was aching, because I've never ran this fast in my life, we, ran this fast for this long.
It's like I'm in a different world from before....
to say something, being chased was normal. I happen to have these somewhat 'good' looks, that I don't really care about. People....Girls...usually chase me for this reason, but I usually can shake them off...I've been running for an half hour now, and still haven't been able to shake them off.
They kept saying that I was some human freak, and that I should be contained by the government...
Okay, just because I may have 'good' looks, that doesn't mean I'm a freak....because I don't think I am....
I was weak, and tired now, for I had never had to run for this long.
I finally hit a dead end, right above a river.
Great, my luck has turned, and to make it worse, people in full body armor, and the military had showed up. What was I to them?
I only had one option.
Jump.
Quickly stepping back, I ran for the rail that prevented crashed cars from falling in, grabbing on to it, swinging over it, into the river. I didn't dare to surface. Not yet anyway. But after too long in the Icy cold early spring water, I gasped for air, without surfacing. I thought I was going to drowned, but then after gulping down the water, I found that I wasn't drowning, or choking.
I was breathing...Breathing underwater...
The shock of it it's self almost made me surface. But I stayed down, swimming closer to the bottom.

After about an hour of swimming, I was exhausted, and Surfaced near a beach. It was of a lake that the river let out into that I jumped in to. There was a girl standing there, in a white sundress, with a big floppy sun hat made out of wicker. She didn't seem surprised when I washed up shore, she just acted like she saw kids wash up to the beach every day.
"Water, a natural element. It can be controlled by some one, as like fire and me. They are one in body, spirit, and mind." I looked at her, and saw that she had a small pocket journal out, and was reading lines from it. I got up from the pile of wetness I was in, and walked over to her. She disregarded me, and kept reading on, "A natural element like this is one hard to control. Although it doesn't add on temper, like fire, it is one hard to discover, for it is associated in times of pure confusion, and sadness." I looked up at the brunette girl, who still didn't look at me.
"I'm sorry, but what the-"
"Um, where did you come from?" She asked, with a bit of attitude in her voice.
"The river." She peered around, then looked up at the sky.
"This is a strong moving river, you would've been crushed if you stayed a float on the top of the water by the beaver dam, and the low bridges for as long as they were" She then looked at the small pocket journal again, taking out a purple jell pen, and wrote something under it, before taking closing the book, and holding it in her hands. "And you have saw nothing that I'm about to do, got it? Because I know you are one of us" She told me, as I nodded, and the book suddenly engulfed in flames. I was about to scream for help, as she suddenly also engulfed herself in flames.
"What....the...."
"Names Riza" She told me, "And for now on you're under the order of me, if you want to live."
