Riza's POV
"Riza, if you don't hurry we won't make it to the airport in time for our flight" My mother shouted up to me. I was finishing throwing stuff in my small lavender suite case. We wouldn't be back home for a month, so I had to make sure I had everything I needed.
Zipping up my suite case, and throwing on my shoes and coat, I shouted, "Coming mother" as I ran down the grand stair case in the elegant grand hall, outside to the taxi that was here to take us to the airport.
My father was out on a business trip, so he wasn't here.
"Now remember, once we get to America, no more speaking anything BUT English. No Spanish, no Portuguese, No Japanese. Just English." Did I mention I lived in Brazil? So I have to speak Portuguese. But alot of people speak Spanish too, so I also know Spanish. And I was born in America, and Spent my first seven years of my life in America, speaking English. And I knew Japanese because my Father always goes to Japan on business trips, and we sometimes live there with him for several months. So basically, I was kinda a language learner, even though I hated using any language but English.
"I know, I can't wait!" I told her, moving my little longer than waist length brown hair so I didn't sit on it, "So what are we going to do first?"
"Well you're in a good mood for traveling," Mother told me, before answering, "We will be checking into the hotel, then swim for the rest of the day, if you're up to it," I did a silent 'yes'.
"So what are we doing tomorrow?" I really hated not knowing, any of this, it made me kinda mad,
"We just have to do some things, but tomorrow is open for you to do whatever you want, so it's up to you to lead whatever way you want" I did another silent 'yes'.
But if I really knew what was going to happen tomorrow, I would've taken, 'It's up to you to lead whatever way you want' even more seriously. Because those words were the words that really meant what tomorrow was.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was finally time to board the plane, to go to my home, or, well vacation.
The flight attendant took my passport, and my plane ticket, "Name?"
"Theresa (English name), "Riza" (nickname) Terezinha (Portuguese middle name and my name in Brazil) Tabithana (name in any Spanish country/Spanish middle name) Tsuki (name in japan/Japanese middle name) "Nadie" (actual middle name/other nickname) Detrasta." The flight attendant looked down at my passport, then back up at me.
"Repeat please."
"I'm Theresa "Riza" Terezinha Tabithana Tsuki Nadie Detrasta" I repeated, "But I go by Riza Nadie Detrasta." He handed me my passport, and nodded for me to be on my way.
Okay, when I hate having more then one name it gets bad. I mean, for me to have to remember all of this, it's hard. That's why my universal nickname is Riza, because it goes with everything.
Finally, I was on my way.
My way to growing up, and my real life as I was 'bout to find out~Pic of Riza on the side
