Dimitri's POV
"So...you wanna play poker," Damien asks.
"You'd lose," I say.
"What about war?" Damien tries.
"I'd kill you," I look out the window.
"Go fish," Damien forces a smile.
"You'd be fishing for losers," I reply annoyed.
"Ugh! I give up. You're no fun," Damien gets up and asks Aly if she wants to play. Loser...Damien is quite the loser.
I sat in the corner and stared out the window. I wasn't like I didn't want to be with the STF, it was just that I didn't want to see Aly yet.
"Dimitri, come to the cockpit," the intercom says. I sigh. What did Riza want now? She already tracked me down because my stupid friend doesn't know who to just say what I told him. I didn't need any other things or lectures told to me.
"Rapist? What does Riza want with you?" Cleo asks.
"How am I supposed to know Shwiney?" I retort. Cleo glares at me and I keep on walking. I sit down in the co-pilot seat.
"Press that button for me. The red one. Then flip the switch that's above it," Riza orders. I follow the directions and get up.
"Is that all you want?" I ask.
"No, sit down. I never dismissed you yet," Riza motions. I sit.
"So what is this, the military now? You have to dismiss me so I can left out of your presence?" I ask.
"Shut up," Riza looks in front of her. I sigh and stare out the side window. We sit in silence for a few minutes and I got tired of the boredom.
"What do you want?" I shoot out my seat. Riza uses the air to push me down in the seat.
"I have power over all elements like you, but I'm stronger. I am not feeling like forcing you to do something so just shut up," Riza stalls the plane in the sky.
"Cleo wants to know why we aren't moving!" Cleo calls.
"Hold on!" Riza replies.
"Why are you stalling the plane?" I ask.
"Why do you care?" Riza asks. I look down to see that we are over water. I get dizzy and sit back in my seat.
"I'm scared of heights. When the plane moves, I forget about it. Can you stop stalling?" I spit out. Riza rolls her eyes, but continues the ride. The plane moves again and I relax a little.
"How did you stop me from sensing you?" Riza asks.
"Why do you want to know?" I smirk.
"Do I need to do this the easy way or the forceful way?" Riza holds up a flaming fist.
"Put three fingers on your mouth, call whatever power or powers you have, and touch your forehead using the same three fingers," I explain.
"How did you learn that?" Riza asks.
"I don't know. When I was a kid, I was doing some random things and I felt something weird when I did that sign so I have just been doing that," I say.
"Hmmph. That's stupid," Riza comments.
"I thought so too," I agree. "How far is the Land Down Under?"
"What?" Riza asks.
"Australia. It's called the Land Down Under because the whole country is under the equator," I explain.
"A couple of hours," Riza checks. "Oh, and you're dismissed now."
"Sir...I mean ma'am, yes ma'am," I smirk.
