Cleo's POV
"Where are we going?!" Kira asked, following me, jumping up and down.
"Cleo's going to Hawaii!!!" I say, looking straight ahead. I was wearing a black business suit, that even though my Little Mermaid red hair made me look like I was young, and it was dyed, even though it wasn't, the black suit made me look older than my typical age.
"Why Hawaii? Can't we go somewhere funner like Disney World?"
"Because Cleo wants to find Riza. And Cleo knows Riza will be in the last place that Riza thinks that Cleo, Stripper, Moron, Rapist, and Aly would look."
"Why find the witch?!?!? The witch is evil!!!"
"Riza's not evil!! Kira is!!!" I shouted, as Kira turned to light, and died. She didn't feel right, anyway. Something about her wasn't right.
I continued to walk on, carrying my backpack, putting it on the X-ray table, emptying my pockets of shwiney things. No one really seemed to notice Kira changing to light. It's like she never even existed.
Like a hologram....that can take a physical shape....
"Uh, mam', is all this stuff yours?" I get asked.
"Yes." I simply say.
"Okay" They reply, as I walk through, stuffing it all back into my pockets. I move on, putting my shoes back on, walking out of security. I got to the plane, and boarded.
Finding a seat near the back, I take a window seat. I would hopefully not be questioned, especially about my hair.
"It's okay that I sit here, right? Or do you have children?" A boy, about the age of sixteen asked to the back of my head.
I turn around in my seat and smile, "No, its fine, Cleo's only sixteen."
"Oh my gosh, you look so mature," He says, realizing that I call myself Cleo, "So you're name is Cleo?"
"Yes, Cleo's name is Cleo. Cleo only refers to Cleo in the third person."
"Oh, so you have your mother here, right?"
"No, Cleo's mother is back in Egypt. Cleo's fater too. The seat next to Cleo is open." I say, patting the seat next to me, the isle seat.
"Oh, okay, I'm Tsephanyah (tooz-ep-an-yah). My parents aren't here either, and they were a little bit nut-zo. At least you have a nice name-"
"Cleo's real name is Cleopatra, and Cleo knows her friend named Theresa Terezinha Tabithana Tsuki Nadie Detrasta. But Cleo and Theresa Terezinaha Tabihana Tsuki Nadie Detrasta's friends call her Riza. Riza's friend that Cleo calls stripper's name is Alagretto. Alagretto's parents are messed up too."
"And Riza's aren't?" He says, looking at me.
"No, Riza's mother is dead. Riza's father is in prison. Riza can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, and a little Russian."
"Oh, where is Riza now?"
"Where this plane is taking Cleo!!!" I say, smiling. "Riza left, and now Cleo is going to go find her!!!"
"Oh, okay." the guy with the funny names says. We then sit silent for the rest of the plane ride.
Riza's POV
I felt bad, leaving the others, so I checked my cell for any calls, just in case they even bothered to call me.
After a while, my phone rang, with a number I've never seen before.
It wasn't a number from around here, and certainly not anywhere I knew of, but I decided to answer it anyway.
"Hello, hola, Kon'nichiwa, Olá, привет, you have reached Riza, how may I help you?"
"Riza? That's you right?" The voice was familiar, almost too familiar, yet I couldn't put my finger on who's it was.
"And who is this...?" I asked, trying to remember.
"It's me, Alagretto, are you okay?" 'Gretto. Just him. I heard a girl in the background, probably not over the age of eight or nine, shouting, ' 'Gretto!! Who ya callen'? Is it a girlfriend of yours? Ooooow!! 'Gretto's gotta girlfriend!!!' I then heard Alagretto shout, 'No! she's not She's just a friend! Leave me alone March!'
"I'm fine. Nothing to worry about. Where are you calling from?"
"My home, in Australia..."
"Oh, why did you call, anyway?"
"Because, I miss you. You just disappeared, and didn't even say goodbye. I thought we made a promise to-"
"Stay together, even when the times are gettin' tough, and we're 'bout to die, I thought that too. But I had to get out of there. That girl...there was something wrong with her."
"Why did you-"
"Because, I did. I'm sorry. But I don't think us sticking together was really going to work out, anyway."
