Aly's POV

It was getting really dark outside. I would have to go to the hotel soon, but something was stopping me.

Aly, aren't the stars beautiful?

"Yeah, they are, Ulison," I answer. I smile at the sky.

Trudging along, I finally get to the hotel. But I didn't want to go inside just yet. Instead, I walk across the street to a local diner. I sit in an empty booth and look at a menu.

"You want anything dawl?" the waitress asks. She had a Texas twang.

"I'll have a chocolate milkshake," I answer. I put the menu down and look at the rain falling out of the sky.

"Here ya go. Anything else dawl?" the waitress drawls. I shake my head and she leaves.

"When you feel like you're ready to go. Somewhere you've never been. Make a wish and the dreams let you go. Traveling so far away," I sing. (Lyrics from "The Glow") People around me stop and listen.

"The story begins inside all our hearts. A fantasy, a dream, and a spark. Once you believe you are ready to shine. The princess inside you will show, you are the glow. You are the glow. You are...the glow," I finish the song. The people clap and hand me money as they leave. I give them my thank you even though I wasn't singing for entertainment.

"You have some true voice there," a man slides into the seat across from me. Two men slide in also, boxing me into the seat.

"And?" I ask, annoyed that I can't drink my milkshake in peace.

"Oh, sorry. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mark Carters. I am a famous record dealer. We could make you famous," the man smiles, and holds out his hand. I shake it and squeeze my hand tightly.

"You're...hurting me," the man squeaks out.

"My momma used to tell me I had a grip stronger than most adults. Now you are excused. I don't want your ugliness or the record deal crap," I say.

"Excuse me, but I don't take no for an answer," the man leans in.

"I suggest you get out my face hill-billy," I glare at him. He leans in closer and I spit in his face.

"I'll teach you honey," the man snaps his fingers and his bodyguards take me out back behind the diner.

"You treat our master right," the bodyguards yell as they throw me on the ground and start beating me up.

"Ha. What are you? His lap-dogs? You need to get a life," I answer, smirking.

"Fine, then. Since you wanna be smart," Mark glares at me. He takes out a tazer.

"You wanna go? Cause I see a tornado coming your way. Maybe even a hurricane," I smile.

"You are a weird girl. I like that. Too bad I'm going to have to beat the crap outta you," Mark laughs.

"Sure," I smirk. I hold out my hands and stuck up all the air around them. Soon, they can't breathe and past out on the ground.

"You...you just..." a little girl stares at me wide eyed. I groan and run out to the hotel. I burst through the door.

"We gotta go now. Person, start up the plane," I order.

"Aly, I..." Riza starts.

"Shut up. I told you I wanted to kill her myself. I don't care what you think or say right now. Don't talk to me either," I snap at her. I walk into my room, grab my belongings, stuff them in a suitcase, and walk out.

"What are you still standing there for, let's go!" I yell. Everyone finally starts moving, except for Riza. She stood there stunned.

I look at her, then turned and walked out the door heading towards the plane. What ever happened, it was my fight and mine only.
