Chapter I: The Leaky Couldron

(All characters here (except Rain and some other characters that i made) is owned by j.k.Rowling) :) It's my first time to write a story so feel free to correct me if there's any wrong spelling and feel free to comment for improvement 😊

Rain's POV
"Wake up Rain, come on we need to get you at Leaky Couldron" shouted Lucy while she's shaking my shoulder to wake me up.

     "What's wrong Lucy, It's still early" i asked her while rubbing my eyes for better eyesight.

    "They've found us! Come on I need to get you out of here." she said with scared voice. But how, I thought they can't able to track us. Lucy said they are far behind.

       I hate this!, i'm tired of running. Can't we just fight back? Right Rain as if Lucy will allow you to use magic while you are out of school. I set aside my thoughts and put my combat shoes and grab my bag.

      "London is far Lucy! How the hell do we able to get there in short time." She gave a me 'We'll-Apparate' look.

      "No Lucy! I will not allow you! you're still badly injured for merlins sake" i exclaimed. We can't apparate she's still weak from her injury last time we escaped those Death Eaters. Urgh i really hate them. 😡😡

"Okay, okay we can take the Knight bus" she said in defeated tone. "The knight bus?" I asked out of confusion. "Yes, it's a transportation for stranded witch and wizard" she answered. We got out and I assist her to the road and in an instances a three decker bus stop infront of us.

       "Hi i'm-" i cut his introduction " Could you take our bag please" i said and assist Lucy inside the bus. What do you expect! i'll have a little chitchat with him before we go? We are running for our life for pete's sake.

     I lay Lucy down on one of the beds. I was surprised first because instead of seats, it's bed. I let out a heavy sigh as i sat beside Lucy. Then we stopped and a boy with round glasses climb up. The conductor then approach me.

     "Where you headed?" he asked. "Leaky couldron that's in London" i said and he leave me and stopped at the side of the boy and ask the same question.

I looked at Lucy. I pity her. She risk her life just to make sure i'm safe. I promise Lucy i'll make it up to you once we are at Leaky Couldron.

        Wonder what's going on? well a week after shool end some wizards came to our house and killed everyone, i managed to escape with the help of Lucy. She said Headmaster Fontaine send her to saved me and get me to Hogwarts as soon as possible. She also said that i can't go back and i'm not safe at Ilvermorny anymore so Headmaster Fontaine transfer me to Professor Dumbledore's care, the headmaster of Hogwarts, she said Professor Dumbledore can assure my safety there. So that's why we are running for our life for almost 2 months.

Surprisingly we arrived at the Leaky Couldron in short span of time. Lucy and i got out of the bus. We make our way to the pub and then an old lad approached us more on at Lucy. They talk a bit then the old lad lead the way to our room.

       As we enter the room i lay Lucy down to the bed. "Lucy let me heal you please". i asked her pleading. Everytime i offer a help she always refuses. That's why i found my self useless. She just shake his head saying no.

       "I'm not ganna use magic, okay." she gave a confused look. "Look Headmaster gave me a small bottle of healing water you can use one drop for faster recovery and healing". she look at me with hesitation then.

    "okay just one drop" she said as i smiled at her then stood up and get a water. I took out my small bottle and pour a drop on the glass of water. I let her drunk it.

        "Take a rest, i'm not going anywhere" she laid down and closed her eyes. I sat down at the couch infront of the fireplace. It's been a long rough and bloody journey just to get here, and finally we are safe.

    I'm in a deep thought when someone knocked at the door. I stood up to open it then it revealed a old man wearing a suit. "You must be Ms. Lancaster" he said i just look at him "Dumbledore informed your arrival to me. I've been waiting for you for weeks" he continued.

     "Sorry we are late, it's really hard to get in here, not to mention those Dark wizard on our tail. Come in please" i said politely.

     "No thank you, i'm just here to give you this" he handed me an envelope and then he left. I closed the door then opened the letter. It's from Hogwarts saying i'm gonna attend the school this school year, below is the things i need to buy for school. I released a heavy sigh and fold back the letter. I'll do the shoping when Lucy gets better.

I sat back to the couch, then i felt something. Ah nope just hungry. I look at Lucy who is still laying on the bed sleeping of course. I guess i could use a little tour.

      I reach the door and get out of the room. Then suddenly i felt something or someone bump into me. Well i didn't fell down if you ask me rather the boy who bumped into me fell down. And the toad escaped in his hand.

      I picked it up for him as he stood up. "I'm sorry i didn't mean to-" i cut him off. "That was fine, it's my fault anyway, i didn't look at my way" I said handling him his toad. "Just got in?" he ask me shyly.

     "Ah yeah just got in an hour ago." "Mind if i ask you" I said looking at him. What's wrong with this boy, he can't even make any eye contact to me. "I won't bite" i said jokingly. He chuckled

   "What you want to ask" he said. "Can you show me the way to the-" my stomach groaned that cut me off. Damn that was so much embarrassment. "Oh i know follow me" he said giggling.

He lead me downstairs. Then i ordered some food for me and lucy of course and ask if they willing to take it upstairs and they said yes they'll deliver it once it cooked.

    "Ahhmm Thank you -?" i look at him asking for his name.

    "Neville, Neville Longbottom" he said.

     "Thank you Neville, i'm Rain Elizabeth Jade Lancaster" i said pulling out my hand on my pocket to offer him a hand shake.

She look shock. I chuckled on his expression. "I know it's long but you can call me Rain" i said and wink at him. He take my hand and we shake hands.

      After that i went upstairs and wait for the food there. 30 minutes had pass and the food had arrived and Lucy woke up.

      "Hey lets eat i ordered food" i said looking at her. "Feelin' better now?" i ask her as she make her way to me.

"Yeah feeling much better now thanks to your healing water" she said sitting right next to me.

I told her what happend while she's asleep and believe me she can't stop herself from laughing.

      "Get over it Lucy" i said pouting at her. "Okay, okay, now you got your letter right" she said hands up while laughing. I gave her the letter. She read it as i finished my meal.

   "When will you plan to buy this?" she asked finishing her meal.

"Anyday you want. I still have 3 days left before school start."

"Okay then we'll go tomorrow" she replied. After we ate i took a shower and throw myself to bed. I hope now i can have a proper sleep after a 2 months of hiding and running. I stared at the ceiling then i slowly drift to my dreamland.
