Chapter VIII: Friends

Rain's POV
      Every student ordered to move in the Great Hall. They let us change our clothes and i should get my bag coz i still have homework to be done.

"Where you going?" Ron asked.
"I forgot my bag i'll just gonna get it, coz you know i still have homework to finish" i said.
"I'm coming with you" Hermione.

"Why don't you bloody forget that homework just for once, we are in the middle of danger" Ron said hysterically.

"Hell no/ No" Hermione and I laughed and get to our bags and my reading glasses.

We went down to the common room and into the Great Hall. We sat down to where we're always sitting. I started my homework while we are waiting for the other student for dinner.

"Seriously guys? Can't you do that tomorrow?" Ron. We just ignore him. I put on my glasses.

I'm nearly finished when Dumbledor called our attention. Everyone is here now.

He said we'll gonna spend the night here at the Great Hall while teachers will search the castle.

"Rain, stopped it and eat your dinner" Hermione said while giggling. I'm making faces infront of her, not minding where i am. I won't stop until she gave back my stuff. She wont let me finish my homework 😩.

Some student near us are laughing too, even Ron and Harry. I continue making faces and they can't stop themselves from laughing. At least the atmosphere is changing, more comfortable than earlier.

Everybody look at our table and join the laughing session hahahaha. Okay that's too much, i stop and start eating.

"You know, you look cute on your glasses" Neville said who sitting beside Harry.

"Why thank you Neville" i said smirking that made him blush. Hahahahaha i can't stop laughing everybody is looking at me.

"Ha ha -Im sorry- ha ha ha sorry, sorry" i said and composed myself. I looked up at the high table. The teachers are smiling except for one person and i bet you already know who.

After eating, Dumbledor change the tables into sleeping bags. Hours had passed and everybody is sleeping peacefully while i can't sleep. I decided to go to the girls comfort room.

I was walking down the corridor humming when someone grab me at the dark side of the corridors. And because i dont want and not good at being surprised, i accidentally kick him at where it hurts the most.

I gasped when i saw who is it. He's jumping and  jumping because of the pain he's feeling.

"I'm so sorry Professor, I didn't mean it, i'm not used of being surprised like that" i said he keeps on jumping and i'm trying my best not to laugh.

"I'll take note of that" he said as he regained his strength. I'm smiling while looking at him fixing his self. He's still look sexy though. wait what!
Rain stop what you thinking.

He look at me, and raised an eyebrow. I did the same until,

"I'm sorry for what i did earlier Ms. Lancaster" he said in velvety voice.

"You're forgiven, besides we're even" i said. Can't stop my self smiling.

"There, you look more attractive when you smile" i said seconds of realization. Wait what did i just say? my eyes widened. He's smirking now
He stepped forward and i step backward until i reached the wall.

Now there's no way out, i'm cornered. My heart is being abnormal again. He walks closer to me still wearing his smirk. god rain you should've think before you speak.
