Chapter VI: Quidditch Try Out

Rain's POV
It's Friday, everybody on the Gryffindor tower talking about the quidditch. I heard on second year students who is passying by that the Captain of Gryffindor quidditch team are searching for new chaser.

The twins and Harry are also on the team. Can't wait to see them play. I'm going to the library for my homework, i still have 2 homework that needed to be done.

There's not much student here now, and that's more i like it. Less people, more peaceful. I choose a sit at the farthest side of the library near the restricted area.

I reached the book that i needed but unfortunately i can't. Little more tiptoe and..... nope can't reach. I grab a chair and stand on it when i turned to reach it someone already grab it.

"Hey i saw that first" i said and turned around and see Professor Snape standing behind me. I'm a little inch taller coz i'm standing at the chair.

He smirked then i realized we where inch close. My heart beat faster. Shit what is this feeling.

I immediately got down and return the chair. I faced him and said " If you need that sir, you can use it first" i said and go back to where i was seated.

All of a sudden i saw him in my peripheral vision as he walks towards and sit across me. My heart can't stop from beating fast.

He gave me the book. "I saw you struggling to get that, so i thought you may need help and get if for you" he said in a velvety voice.

Composed your self Rain, now is not the time to be nervous. "Ahmm yeah. Th-thank you Professor." i can't even look at his eyes.

"Am i that scary?" he asked i shake my head and said "No sir, you're not scary at all. I mean-"

"So you're not scared at me" he said

"Yes sir, but-" he cut me again.

"Very well then" he said using his emotionless voice. My jaw dropped and.....

I heard him chuckles. I don't know he can chuckle, that's new again.

"Why are you alone?" he asked again. "Less people, more peaceful sir" i said with a little laugh.

"Is your wounds okay now?"

"Yes sir, thanks to you" i said and smile at him. He smile back we chat for a while. "Anyway, that glasses suits you" he said as he turned his back and walk away.

I surely am blushing right now i hope he didn't saw that. I finished my homework and headed to the Great Hall.

"Rain, here!" Hermione said. I approached them and sat next to Harry. "What's Up" i asked.

"Have you ever played quidditch?" Ron
"Yeah, i played for Horned Serpent at my old school" i said. Ron nodded.

I noticed Harry wearing his quidditch uniform. "You have a practice tonight?" i asked him

"No we gonna assist for the tryouts of aspiring chasers" he said and i nodded. We are peacefully eating when someone approached us. Like Harry, he's wearing quidditch uniform too.

"Oliver i thought tryout start at 7pm" Harry
"Yes it is" Oliver
"What brought you here?" Harry. Oliver then pulled out a magazine which cover is me being the model of last year Quidditch magazine. But that was in America, how did it get here? i choked and cough and they look at me.

"Bloody hell, you played for America at the world cup last year?" Ron asked with wide eye at me loudly, enough to hear some student including teachers that having dinner here at the Great Hall.
