Chapter XII: Happy Holidays

Rain's POV
After that conversation with the two, i tried my very best everyday to avoid him. I even borrow Harry's Invincibility Cloak so he won't notice me after Potion class.

And speaking of Harry, he's been depressed for the past days, after they got back from Hogsmeade. Hermione told me what happen. I feel sorry for him. Ron said too that Harry's continuing to have nightmares about Dementors and his mothers scream.

After days and days of avoiding him, Holidays finally here at last. The three of us try to console Harry, but he chooses to go to Hagrid's house to ask about Sirius Black.

Speaking of Sirius, i haven't spoken to him for a while. Where could he possibly be? Well he can show his self to me if he wants.

The two protest, of course, but i didn't, 'Cause i'm curious too.

We went to Hagrid's house that day and found him distraught about Buckbeak's upcoming hearing before the Committee for Disposal of Dangerous Creatures, i notice Harry decided not to bring up Sirius. Good choice there buddy.

Oh that Malfoy, it's best for him not to show up to me, i might wrecked that face of him.

We stayed there and help Hagrid prepare his defense for Buckbeak's case.

Christmas has arrived, and i'm still thinking what to give for my friends. I can't go to Hogsmeade to buy. I wonder my eyes around my room to find something useful. Then there i spotted my guitar.

How about a song. Since they haven't heard me sing. I hope they will like it. It's still early, so i grab a parchments and my quill and my guitar and start to write a song.

It's not long enough when i heard Hermione calling me.

"Rain, come on down this instance" she shouted. What did she need.
I put down my guitar and went down the common room.

"What Hermione, you're deafening" i said.

"Look! you've got presents" she said happily.

"I did?!" i said and walks excitingly towards the christmas tree near the fireplace.

"Here! mom made this for you" said Ron and gave a present wrapped in color red paper.

I opened it and saw a gray colored knitted sweater with my initials in it.

"Wow this is beautiful, tell your mom i love it and thank you" i said and since i'm just wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans, I decided to wear it.

"And this, from Ginny and me, our gift for you" Hermione said with a smirks on her face and Ginny is giggling. I open it and...

"Advance Potion?!" i said surprised. The two laugh and i'm sure what they want to tell me. My face instantly turned scarlet.

"Oh yeah, for your POTION CLASS, because we know how much you love Potion." they said together and laugh. They really emphasize that Potion Class. The boys look confused.

"I hate you guys!" i said and instead to stop they laugh more loud. Harry gave me a black new goggles for quidditch. I thank him.

"Guys, thanks for this but i haven't got anything for you" i said. They smiled and..
