Chapter IX: First Quidditch Match

Rain's POV
Over the next few days, nobody talks about anything, but Sirius Black. And the Fat Lady refused to return to work until Sirius is caught. Because of that, Professor Dumbledor is forced to replace her with the annoying Mad Knight, Sir Cadogan. Annoying because he changes the password twice a day, and Neville force to wrote it down.

Well there's nothing we can do, no one wanted the work after what happened to the Fat Lady. And because of the attack, Harry place under surveillance. He's very annoyed coz teachers find excuses to go down the hall with him, including Percy, acting on his mother orders, follows him everywhere he go.

"But Professor i need to train" said Harry. He's trying his best not to be rude.

"Very well then, i'll ask Madam Hooch to be present" Professor McGonagall said. I saw a annoyed and furious Harry walks down the Great Hall. I followed him and sat beside him.

"What happened?" i asked. He didn't answer. We stayed hushed for a while until Hermione and Ron arrived. I stand up and get my bag. I understand he can't trust me yet.

"Where are you going? We just arrived you know" Ron asked.

"Harry wants to share something to the both you" i said. Harry looked at me. "Oh right, did she share it with you already?" Hermione asked. I smiled at her. "Nope, it's best to share it with his best friends" The two looks confused.

"I'd better go, i still have practice to attend to, see you at the pitch Harry" i said and leave them.

Over the next 3 days. Harry's been practicing with us at nights with the presence of Madam Hooch. And i haven't talk to the trio.

The first Quidditch match is just around the corner, due to the injury of the captian of Slytherin, i don't know how did he end up like that, we won't gonna play with them but we will play Hufflepuff instead.

On the day before the match, Professor Lupin becomes ill and Professor Snape take his classes for him. But i know better.

"Turn to page 394" he said and walked at the back. I opened my book and read the title "Werewolves" i whispered.

"Now which one you can tell me what's the difference between Animagus and werewolf" he asked.

I raised my hand and so Hermione too.

"No one, how disappointing" i just rolled my eyes.

"Please sir, an Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn an animal, a werewolf has no choice. With each full moon he no longer remember who he is. Furthermore the werewolf only respond to the call of his own kind." Hermione answered and Malfoy mimic the sound of werewolf.

"Thank you Mr. Malfoy.. That's the second time you've spoken out of turn, Ms. Granger. Are you incapable of restraining yourself or do you taken pride in being an insufferable know-it all?" Professor Snape using his chilling voice with a bit of annoyance.
"He's got a point, you know" said Ron. I'm not far from them so i can hear them.

'Don't be so harsh Professor' i said to Professor Snape using Legilimens. He just look at me for second. "Five points from Gryffindor" He said and no one dare to speak.

"As an antidote to your ignorance, and on my desk by monday morning, two rows of parchment on the werewolf, with emphasis of recognizing it." he added.

"But sir, it's Quidditch tomorrow" Harry

"Then i suggest you take extra care Mr. Potter, loss of limbs will not excuse you. Page 394" He said.

That was intense

•Quidditch Match•

Today is the first match and it's raining badly. I look around and saw a large black dog in the top most empty row seats in the quidditch stadium. I look up at Harry and seems like he sees it too.

Harry soared up high to catch the golden snitch, i leave my post and follow Harry. I feel somethings bad gonna happen.

As what i thought, Harry falls down rapidly so i fly faster to catch him before he fall down at the Whomping Willow.

I successfully catch him but because of the strong wind and rain, I lost control and out balance. I lost a grip at Harry.

"Aresto Momentum" i saw Harry floating but his broomstick flies into the whomping willow and destroyed. While me because of out of control i dive straight to the ground.

I can't breath and my eyes starting to blur. I can't move my body, I feel numb. Before i lose consciousness i saw man and his saying something but i cant hear him. Last thing i knew i saw darkness.

Snape's POV
I stand up to where i'm sitting when i saw Rain fly fast to catch that Potter. She successfully catch him, but in an instant she lost balance and both of them fall down very fast.

"Aresto Momentum" Albus casted but only Potter is save because Rain falls rapidly than earlier.

"Go get her and bring her to the hospital wing" Albus said. I immediately come down and apparate. I saw her lying on the ground covered with blood and dirt. She's catching her breath. Thank God she's still alive.

"I'm here now, hold on you're gonna be alright" i said panicking. I dont want to lose her. I saw student coming towards us, i saw Malfoy.

"Get her broom" i ordered him. I carried her bridal style and run to the hospital wing. She lost lots of blood.

We got to the Hospital Wing and immediately called Madam Pomfrey to aid her. Her friends was shocked for what they saw. Luckily Potter just fainted, but Rain got all the damages.

"Everybody leave" Madam Pomfrey said. She turned to me "You too, i'll just change her clothes, you can comeback later" I nodded and made my way out. I saw Albus coming towards me.

"How is she?" Albus
"Critical, she lost lost of blood" I replied. He nodded.

"Everyone, you must leave for a while, you can comeback later." he said to the student that is here.
"You too, you should change, you are covered with her blood" he said to me. I nodded and apparate to my chamber.

I quickly took off my clothes and take a shower. I don't know what to do if i lost her. 'And yet you keep on denying that you don't have feelings for her' Stop your stupidity Severus, it'll get you nowhere. Even if i had, we cannot be together, she is too young for me, and i don't want to ruined her future.

After taking a fast shower i immediately put my clothes, dried my hair and apparate at the hospital wing.

I entered and saw Albus and Pomfrey talking to each other. There's no one else here, but the three of us.

"How is she" i asked and the two gives me a twinkling look and they smile at each other.

"She'll be alright, dear. She may unconscious for couple of days but that is good because she will need a long rest to regain her strength. You can watch over her every night if you wish." Madam Pomfrey said with i hint of a romantic excitement.

What's with this two. I choose to ignore them and stared at her instead. She got a bandage at her head and left arm. She's strong enough to escape death.

Sometime later, here comes her friends, Granger, Longbottom, and the Weasleys.

"Is she alright" Granger. I raised my eyebrow, if i put you 100 feet and let go, will you survive?. Of course i didn't say that.

"Don't worry, dear she'll be fine. She just need to rest" Pomfrey.

"Severus?" Albus. I turned to him and i know what he meant. I nodded and walk out of the hospital wing.

"Have you changed your mind, Severus" he asked with a wide smile.

"Nothing is change Albus" i said and leave him there still smiling. I went down the dungeon to finish some work. I'll just visit her later at night.
