Chapter VII: The Fat Lady

Rain's POV
      It's October, and the team is practicing hard for the upcoming Quidditch season. And Professor Snape been moody this past few weeks.

Like there was a time he's nice, then suddenly he's colder and meaner than before. Hermione said, he's really mean and cold but not nice.

I saw something in him, somethings that other student misunderstood. If he could just open up to someone and eased the pain he's been carrying.

Well back to the Quidditch season, as what i said the team is practicing hard especially Oliver because it his last year and he's determine to win. We've been practicing every Friday night and weekends. Lucky for me i always one step ahead, finishing homework before practice. Time management is important if you want to do both.

And of course october is pretty exciting because third years can visit Hogsmeade on Hallowe'en. But the thing is you can't go if your guardian or parents didn't sign your permission form. And Unlucky for Harry and I can't go, Harry's uncle didn't sign his permission form and as for me i don't have someone to sign it.

So Harry and I spent the day at Professor Lupin's office, drinking tea. And their are talking about Harry's Boggart and why he didn't let Harry face it. I roamed around to entertain my self, i saw a book and take a sit to read it.

Shortly afterwards, Professor Snape appears holding a mysterious potion. He look at me shocked. What was that. Then he walks towards Professor Lupin and handed the potion. I looked at them and Lupin claims to simply have an illness that is aided by the potion.

But i have a feeling that it's not just a simple illness. And to add to that my wand still emitting magical tone whenever Professor Lupin is around. I'm slowly getting into it. Just need confirmation. I've been observing Professor Lupin since the first day.

I stared at the two Professors. I hurriedly looked back at the book when they glance at us. I can feel the tension between the two.

You know what, i should've ask Dumbledor. Sure he knows everything about his staff. I closed the book and returned it.

"Harry, is it okay if i leave you here for a moment?" the two Professor looked at me. "Where you going?" he asked.

"Headmasters Office, i just want to know if he'll allow me to spend christmas with Lucy" I lied. Hope they're convinced. "Yeah sure" Harry.

Once i'm out of the room, i immediately run to Headmasters Office. I whispered the password. I reached the door and knock three times.

"Come in" he said. He sounded like he's expecting me. "Ah, Ms. Lancaster come on in, have a sit"

"Now what can i do for you?" he asked. I look at him in the eye. I know that he already know what i'm here for. "We both exactly know why i'm here, Headmaster" i said directly. He smiled and i got the confirmation i want.

"Ah yes, yes, your suspicion on Professor Lupin is correct". Silence overtake us. "Can you do me a favor" he said. I hesitated but i still said yes. "Can you keep it between the four of us" he asked and looked behind me, there the two Professor standing at the door.

"[sighed] As long as no one will get hurt, Headmaster" i said and pulled out my wand and whispered something and the musical tone vanish.

"A Rowan wand, i believe" Dumbledor said. I nodded "Can i" he said gesturing his hand to examine my wand. I give him my wand.

"Very rare wand, Horned Serpent Horn core" he said while examining it. "Exceptional powerful and dangerous." He smiled. "Is this the reason?" he asked and handed me my wand. I put it my jacket. I shake my head as an answer.
