Chapter II: King's Cross And Dementors on the Train

Rain's POV
      Morning comes, Lucy and I headed to Diagon Alley. We enjoyed roaming around while we buy my stuff.

      As i glance to the candy shop my eyes caught the other side of the Diagon Alley. I called the attention of Lucy. "Lu what's that supposed to be, the dark side of the Alley?" i asked her.

      Curiosity is running through my mind. I was about to step forward to it when she pulled my hand and dragged me out from there.

      "That's Knocktern Alley. Trust me you don't want to be there" i eyed her for more explanation.

      "That is where you can buy things for dark arts. In short it's the Alley for witch and wizards who are devoted to the Dark Arts." she explained.

       Well at least i know now i really don't want to go there 😂. We entered the candy shop even if it's against my will. One thing i observed at Lucy, she can't resist the temptation of sweets. She loves candy and other sweet thing. Given the fact that this lady is already grown up and always serious, she can't hide her childishness to me.

      "Are you gonna go back to America after this?" i asked her making our way to the pub. I hate to admit it but i'm gonna miss her. "Sad to say Rain but yes, my work is waiting for me" she replied. Then silence overtake us. " Don't be sad you can always owl me" her trying to cheer me up. Ofcourse but i still gonna miss her. I smile at her and she smiled back.

      2 day passed and we are at the King's Cross. Lucy handed me my ticket. I look at it as i read "Platform  Nine and Three-Quarter?" i look at her confused.

       "It's between platform 9 an 10" she said as i look between 9 and 10. "Are you kidding me?" i said and look at her disbelief. She just laugh at me.

      "You really have a lot to learn here." i just pouted and act like i didn't hear her. "Come on now, we need to run through that pillar" she said.

       Now i'm really really confused. "Just grabe on and hold on tight" she said so i did what she said. I hope she's still on her right mind. We ran through between platform 9 and 10. 'please dont let me die' that's the only words running on my mind. "Open your eyes" she whispered.

      I opened my eyes slowly then i saw young witches and wizards hurrying to get on train, some talking to their parents and bidding goodbyes to each other. I look at Lucy. This is it, after the train take off i'm not gonna see her again.

    "Oh come on Rain, dont give me that look" she said. I smile at her sadly. I hug her "until me meet again" i said.

      "Be good there, don't do something stupid, get yourself out of trouble and make friends" i nodded and make my way inside the train.

I look around for free compartment and I felt eyes staring at me. They probably intrigued for my presence and why am i here.

      Like hello! new kid here! hahaha. Right Rain you're getting crazy. Minutes passed and i can't find any free compartment not until i saw one but had already a man sitting or sleeping inside.

      Maybe he don't mind if someone can sit in. I sit in and bring out my book tittled 'Black Rainbow' by Barbara Michaels. I felt the train is moving so i focus myself at the book.

      "Come on it's the only free, all are full already" i lowered my book to see who it was. I saw a girl together with red haired boy and the boy i saw at the Knight bus. They looked at where i seated and i hurriedly look back at my book. The girl opened the compartment door and asked me.

     "Mind if we seat in?" i look at her and smile.

      "Nah not at all" i said. "who is he" red haired boy.
