Chapter XVII

Rain's POV
      June arrives, and so the end-of-the-Year exams. This past few weeks has been hell. I can't even have time for my friends. All i'm doing is study, sounds like boring but i enjoyed it.

And Buckbeak's appeal is scheduled on the final day of exam. I hope everything will work out well.

And after that night i buried my feelings for him and start focusing myself from other things.

I continued to be friends with him, though i don't talk to him a lot. It's best this way.

After the final exams, Hermione told me that their appeal didn't work. That night the trio and I went to Hagrid's and try to console him before buckbeak's execution. We used the invisibility cloak.

Harry knocked at the door.

"Hagrid it's us" Hagrid opened the door. He let us in and pulled out our cloak.

We stayed there for a while until someone threw a stone at Harry. I notice Dumbledore, Fudge, and the representative of the Committee for The Disposal of Dangerous Creatures, and the executioner arriving.

"Guys we need to go, they're here" i said and get my cloak. Hermione saw Scabbers at a milk jug and retun it to Ron. We said goodbye to Hagrid.

We watched Buckbeak's executed far from Hagrid's hut. Hermione is crying, i hug and comforted her. We get back to the castle, disappointed and sad.

At the dinner, the trio is still in silent. So i choose not talk to until Ginny asked me.

"What's with you four?" Ginny.

"Buckbeak's has been executed earlier" i plainly answered while playing at my food. I don't feel to eat tonight.

I went up straight to my room after dinner. I get my book and continue reading the Black Rainbow.

I opened the window and sit down facing the starry night. Shortly afterwards, i saw blocks of people at the Whomping Willow. I reach my telescope and see who are those.

I stand up to where i'm sitting when i saw Ron being dragged by the black dog inside the Whomping willow. I saw Hermione and Harry struggling to get in too.

I put on my a jacket and my combat shoes, get my wand insides my secret pocket and hurriedly run down.

I'm running at the corridors when someone grab my hand. I turned around, there i saw Bat Man.

"Where do you think you're going Lancaster?" he said blankly.

"Let me go, my friends need me" i said and trying to pull my hand out of his grip.

"You could get dete-" i cut him.

"I don't care! Okay! My friends are more important to me. They're all i have left and i'm not gonna sit there knowing that they are in danger" i shouted at him. I don't want to be rude or disrespectful, but my friends needed me.

His face softened and lost his grip to me.

"Okay, but i'm coming with you" he said.

"Suit yourself" i said and we run to the Whomping willow. He casted a spell to stop the Whomping Willow so we can get in.

We found a passage that leads to the Shrieking Shack, this house supposed to be a haunted.
