After going to a church and lugging a dying woman home with them, Anne mentally noted that she would need a spa day when she returned to Seattle. Stefan thanked her for helping out, and she muttered a serious of 'yeah's and 'don't mention it,' then she busied herself in the Kitchen. Their fridge and pantry seemed to only offer ingredients for random cocktails and a grilled cheese, so she made herself exactly that, and sat down at the breakfast bar to have her meal.

Stefan came up and sat beside her, and she offered him some of her grilled cheese. "Thanks," he accepted, taking a bite and giving her a 'that's good' face. "So," he said between bites, "we're about to have a house full of our gang and the person we're trying to trap and exorcise from our friend Elena, so... it might get awkward for you, given that you don't know anyone."

"That's considerate of you to notice."

"Would you be able to stand outside as guard when Katherine gets here? I'm willing to bet she won't escape you, given you're probably much older than her."

"Another truth," She continued sipping on her cocktail. "I'll just be here until you need me."

The front door opened and Stefan told Anne it was the rest of his friends, so he called them into the kitchen. "Hey guys—"

Anne's eyes suddenly widened, "You!" She pointed to the Mystic Grill worker from earlier in the day, scowling, "You poisoned my drinks!"

Stefan turned to him, and he held his hands in the air, "I didn't know you were..." he struggled to find the words, "Friends? With Stefan?" He looked at Stefan for help.

Stefan glanced across the room at his friends, "This is Anne, in case some of you don't know. She's helping with Damon's Ripper-virus. She's one of Klaus' friends."

The guy from earlier, who let Damon escape, snorted under his breathe. Anne tilted her head, "You got a problem, squirt?"

He looked up at her, slightly surprised and definitely agitated. "No problem here," he began to walk away to a different part of the house while muttering, "I just can't escape that son of a bitch."

"Don't mind him," Caroline said, "He's just going through some stuff."

Anne shrugged it off, "Not my problem; here to fulfil a favour, then leave." Anne kept sipping away at her drink, pointing at the other young woman in the kitchen and swallowing before asking, "Are you a witch?"

The woman in question contorted her mouth as if to be lost for words for a moment. "Uh, yeah? How'd you know?"

"You... feel magical? I don't know how else to describe it." Anne felt a tug towards this woman, something felt otherwordly about her. "What's your name?"

"Bonnie. Bennet," She added, helpfully.

"Ah, that's probably it."

The man who tried to poison Anne earlier said, "My name's Matt, I'm sorry about putting vervain in your drinks earlier, but I gotta cut my introduction short." He turned to Stefan, "Where are your blankets?"

"In the cupboard, down the hallway to your left."

"Thanks." He looked at Anne again, "Sorry, again."

Caroline smiled, "On the plus side, you can now tick off being poisoned by someone in Mystic Falls off your Vampire bucket list."

"Is that something that happens regularly here?"

A man standing beside Bonnie sniggered, "What crazy shit doesn't regularly happen here?" He offered his hand to her from across the kitchen bench, "I'm Jeremy."
