Back in Capital City, Eggman was mumbling away about the plan going on in a day. Cubot however perked up when he noticed the blue blur approaching. "Uh, boss?" He said as he pointed behind them. "Sonic! What a pleasurable surprise it is being here." Eggman said smoothly also turning around.
Sonic only smiled. "Mhm, it's a pleasure meeting you here too Egghead." He replied, crossing his arms. He looked back at his two tailed friend, telling him to stand back. Seeing a worthy challenge, Infinite chuckled. He turned back around to watch the town from above and he slowly frowned...
"But you know what Sonic!? It isn't over yet! I got another trick up my sleeve!" Eggman yelled as he leaned forward. He glanced at Infinite, "Infinite, do it!" The Ruby on the jackals glowed fiercely as a void, spiraling with black, blue and purple appeared mysteriously.
Sonic's eyed widened as he started getting sucked into the void.
"Sonic!" You yelled, flying towards the blue blur and grabbing his hand. In return, Gadget grabbed your hand. He looked at both of you before shaking his head. "(Y/N), Gadget no! Your just get sucked up too!"
"We'd rather get injured to save you than you get injured to save us." You and Gadget replied, staring at him with determination. The rope that held you broke and the three of you got engulfed by the void.
It disappeared...
Shaking his head Tails frowned confused as to why the Phantom Ruby was still strong. "What!? By I thought we destroyed the Phantom Ruby's power source!" Eggman cackled, before taking a breath. "That was a decoy! Since you always destroy my power sources!"
* The Void
The three of you admired the terrain. "This is not where we were supposed to end up..." You nodded, admiring the red cubes floating about.
"C'mon! It's time to get out of this place." Sonic yelled running forward with you and Gadget following.

"Sup everyone? Missed everyone!" Sonic commented, waving his hand in greeting. "Sonic? (Y/N)? Gadget? What happened? You just suddenly disappeared!" Knuckles said though the communicator.
"Nothing happened." Gadget replied, running besides the two of you.
"Now, lets end this war!"
