"Go on now, open it." Sonic said, waving his hand in the direction of the box you were holding. You carefully unwrapped the box and quickly smiled, tears appearing in your eyes.
In the box was a gold necklace, a ruby handing gracefully from it. "I had a little help with the necklace." Sonic said sheepishly as you put on the necklace. You admired the shape of the ruby, for it was in the shape of a heart.
Sonic looked down at the ground, wondering if you wouldn't say no.
"Huh? Soni, what's wrong?" You asked, tilting your head to the side. He turned his head to look at you, various emotions swirling in his emerald eyes. "I have something to tell you, do you mind if I talk to you tomorrow?"
"Sure. I don't mind." You replied.
