Your wounded body lay on a medical bed. You shifted once or twice, making the blue blur's ears perked with hope. His hand grazed yours and you unconsciously smiled.
The door opened, as if the person responsible tried to be quiet. Sonic looked up, his gaze meeting yellow orbs. "I'm really sorry about (Y/N)..." Silver spoke, his gaze looking down. Sonic only nodded, his throat hurting like a wild animal clawed at it.
Silver placed tried to place a soft and very comforting hand on his shoulder, but the blue hedgehog seemed cold. He looked as if his eyes were trained on something else. You unconsciously growled and turned to the other side.
The blue blur only took this as a sign of you getting better and a smile danced along his muzzle. "She's getting better..." He whispered, patting your back. Silver took this time to exit the the room and the blue blur stayed there, comforting your wounded body.

Your eyes gazed over the illusion playing in front of you. Red liquid patted the floor in a raging river. No matter where you looked, you always saw Infinite floating there, his eye looking at the few mobians left with insanity.
"Your still alive? Hmph, persistent to say the least. But I do enjoy prey that put up a fight." He chuckled, a beam the same color as the Ruby on his chest appearing in his hand.
You growled as you watched helplessly as the few remaining mobians were wiped out. You shut your eyes, hoping that you could change this illusion to something from the past.

Your eyes fluttered open, before shutting them again by the blinding light above you. Numbly, you clutched your head in your hands attempting to numb the pain. You then felt hands comb themselves gently through your hair.
"Your awake." Sonic quietly said.
