So... hi. And what can I say? Whoops.
Anyway, I sadly haven't written in months (oh my gosh, has it actually been that long?), but I'm sorry (again) for the delay. For those of you who've actually read parts of this, thanks a lot. This is actually the first writing piece I've shared on such an open platform, and the first fanfic I've ever written, so although 185 reads may not seem like much, it's a lot more reads than anything else I've written. Thanks for that, guys, and I hope this chapter (and probably one in the next couple of days) help get me back on the writing track.
Hazah!!!

"Aunt May, I'm home," I called, coming in the door to the apartment.
"How was your first day?" she called back. I walked into the living room and put my bag on the floor beside the house. Aunt May was dusting off the coffee table.
"It was pretty good, actually. My teachers seem nice, and I don't have any homework yet."
"Did you make any friends?" She set down the duster and put her hands on her waist, tilting her head to the side.
I thought about that. Could I consider any of the people I'd met today as friends? Some of them seemed nice enough. Piper was cool, so were her friends, but they were all seniors. In the end, I decided that didn't matter.
"Yeah, I made a few friends."
"Really?" she asked, surprised.
"Gosh thanks, Aunt May. You don't think I can make any friends?"
She shook her head. "I'm just surprised you put yourself out there so quickly."
I could probably admit that I wasn't the most social of people and I was only really friends with the nerds, but this was a new school, right?
I wanted to put on my spiderman suit and hit up the new neighbourhood, maybe save everybody from another super-weapon, but Mr. Stark wanted me to visit the Avengers facility. That was going to be awesome, so I wasn't really bummed. I hadn't seen Steve since he punched me in the face, but maybe I'd get to see him again. He was pretty cool.
"Hey, Aunt May, I need to get to the internship Mr. Stark reinstated, so I'm going to head out. I'll be home for supper." She gave a quick good-bye that involved something about staying safe and I left.
I made sure I had my bus pass and rode to the nearest station. From there, I walked to the Avengers facility. I walked right up to the front doors without an incident. The motion sensors must have been activated, but Mr. Stark knew I was coming. The doors swung open and I walked in, JARVIS welcoming me.
"Mr. Stark is waiting for you on the 3rd floor, Mr. Parker."
"Thanks, JARVIS." Mr. Stark had warned me about their AI system over the phone, but it was still pretty cool technology. There was so much Mr. Stark could teach me.
"JARVIS, can you tell me which tv show Mr. Stark likes the most?"
JARVIS didn't even need a buffer period. "He has a tendency to watch shows like Star Trek, but I do not believe Mr. Stark notices his watching patterns." This AI was pretty cool.
The elevator dinged and opened up to reveal Mr. Stark and a couple other guys. One of them was red. The other had metal legs.
"Hey, Mr. Stark. It's good to see you. Do you have any new missions for me? I can totally help out the avengers if you guys have another bomber or something to deal with. And I haven't seen you since last year, so thanks for letting me keep the suit and-" Mr. Stark raised his hand, cutting me off.
