Part 6. The Next Day at School

The next morning, Yuri and Natsuki woke up and got dressed for school. Natsuki packed a uniform in her bag, planning to spend a second night with Yuri anyways. Natsuki had this feeling of determination and courage to do something today, but couldn't decide what the hell that was. They were silent in the car on the way to school, it didn't take long to get there anyway.

When they got there, they separated to go to their classes. Yuri went to Geometry, while Natsuki went to art. An hour later, while Yuri was in Chemistry, Natsuki spent her History class thinking of what it was that she was so determined to do, then it hit her; all this time, she was secretly in love with Yuri, and wanted to be around her always. Towards club time, she would get Yuri alone, and confess these hidden feelings.

At lunch, Yuri, Natsuki, and Sayori sat together at a table, while Monika sat with her more popular group, as she was the most popular club member, thankfully still having respect and kindness towards her other literature club members. Yuri went to use the bathroom real quick, while Natsuki was alone with Sayori.

"Hey Sayori?"

"What's up Natsie?"

"Do you know what it's like to love someone?"

"Oh totally!"

"I mean, love someone who more than likely won't love you back."

"Oh, sure I have. Why?"

"Well, I think—I think I, I think I am in love with Yuri."

Sayori screamed happily. "REALLY? THATS ADORABLE!"

"Shhhhh, keep it down."

"Right, my bad. Well, what are you gonna do?"

"Well, once the two of us are alone, I think I'll say something."

"Sounds like a plan."

Yuri shortly returned, and everything was normal, although Sayori struggled to keep a straight face as the others sat side by side.

Hours later, it was club time, and the club was having their usual conversations. Until Sayori stood up.

"Hey, I need to use the bathroom real quick. Monika, can you come with?"

"Uhh, sure?"

As the two began to leave, Sayori looked back and winked at Natsuki. Yuri noticed this and was confused.

"Why did she wink at you like that?"

"Well, uhhhhh, Yuri, there's something I want to tell you."

"Lay it on me."

Natsuki sat up straight. "Yuri, I—I love you. Like, I wanna be your girlfriend or somethin. I knew it would be worthless to confess, but I feel as I should be with you always."

Yuri was in shock. "Natsuki—I, I—I feel the same."

Before she knew it, Natsuki went in for a kiss. Yuri was red with surprise, eventually closing her eyes and kissing back.

After school, the two went back to Yuri's. Not saying a word, but looking at each other time to time.
