When Yuri and Natsuki returned home, they thought about what happened today.
What. Just. Happened?
All they knew was that they were somehow in love now, and it's become a flowering relationship. Yuri had become so much more attached to her new girlfriend, and wanted to be with her, to protect her, and to love her now and forever. Yuri washed Natsuki's uniform so she could have it tomorrow, and thought of how this was becoming her new obsession, she was obsessed with the little tsundere now. Natsuki thought about how Yuri was feeling; did she really accept her and love her back? Or is she just being nice?
Yuri returned to the living room and sat down with Natsuki. "Hey, about today-"
"Do you hate me, Yuri? How do you really feel? Are you just trying to not make me feel bad? I want the truth."
Yuri took a deep breath. "Well, when you said you wanted to be my girlfriend, did you mean that seriously?"
"Yes, dammit! Now how about you answer my question because I feel like I've violated you or somethin."
"By kissing me?"
"Whatever."
Yuri held the little tsundere's hand. "You didn't do harm to me at all. Do you even remember when I said that I felt the same about you? I meant that. I want us to be together as much as possible. I have an infinite cycle of love surrounding you. I feel as if a tide of romantic emotions has crashed into my heart and mind, I feel as if I could stop the strongest disasters from driving us apart. You are the reason the love of my heart still remains; after years of trying to understand if it was truly there to begin with. I love you, Natsuki, more than anything else in this universe, this dimension, this today."
Natsuki turned rosy red as she smiled. "Damn, Yuri; you just went deep."
Yuri was surprised she could even get the words out. "Hey, th-that's what you know me f-for, right?"
"You know it. So, is it official?"
Yuri smiled romantically. "Yes. Yes it is."
Natsuki giggled with excitement, she couldn't believe the girl she loved is now in love with her as well. "So, what should we do now?"
Yuri sat up "Let's make a promise, to stand by each other, as lovers, now and forever. To let nothing drive us apart."
Natsuki leaned closer. "Great; let's kiss on it."
"Wha-" before Yuri knew it, Natsuki kissed her once again. She knew she shouldn't have been so shocked again, but it kept creeping up on her by surprise. But this time, she felt more relaxed and engaged. She kissed her right back.
When they broke it off, Natsuki looked up at Yuri. "So, what now?"
"I should probably help you with any homework you have. I finished all of mine in the study hall I had today."
Natsuki laughed a little. "Typical Yuri, finishing her homework at school so she doesn't have to at home. Yeah, I've got a little reading left to do in this book; that's all. And I kinda wanted to read it with you anyways."
Yuri smiled "I'd love to. Shall we, mademoiselle?"
Natsuki laughed at Yuri's fancy talk. "Oui, oui, mademoiselle! Allons-y!"
Natsuki sat in Yuri's lap while Yuri sat cross legged with the book in hand. She read the book out loud to Natsuki, and she listened to Yuri's voice, falling in a trance of how beautiful she sounded when she spoke the words off the paper. They finished the book in about an hour; Yuri reviewed the book with her little girlfriend, wanting to make sure she understood the material, and would be able to talk about it the next day in class.
"Are you confident in what you understand from the reading?"
"Yep, I think that it helped that you read it aloud to me, helps me remember what's important."
"Well, now that's done, what's next on our nightly agenda?"
"It's about 6:30, dinner and a movie?"
"Sounds great."
Yuri fixed up two simple sandwiches with some grapes and strawberries on the side, very simple, but Natsuki enjoyed it like it was the best thing she had since forever.
"How is everything?"
"It's great, babe."
Yuri blushed. "B-babe?"
Natsuki turned rosy. "Was that too much too soon?"
"No, no, I'm just trying to remember that we are girlfriends now."
Natsuki smiled. "Me too."
They sat down on the couch, cuddled up together.
"So Natsie, what should we watch?"
"Well, after watching a horror movie the first night, I think we should watch a little romance! And I think I've got the anime for that!"
"Sure. Sets the scene here. Which one."
Natsuki pulled out a disc. "This one. It's about two female assassins who were supposed to kill each other for a mission, but end up falling in love. It's pretty steamy too if you know what I mean."
Yuri laughed. "Oh, I know what you mean! Pop it in."
Two hours pass, it's about 8:30 now, and the movie just ended.
"What did you think, Yuri? Was it good? The movie, I mean."
"You know what? It wasn't bad! I liked the plot, and the chemistry between the two protagonists was almost too good to be true!"
Natsuki giggled. "I knew you'd like it, especially after today and all."
"Right."
"Hey, listen babe, can I talk serious with you for a minute?"
Yuri grew concerned. "Sure, go right ahead."
"Well, honestly, I'm kinda scared."
"Of what?"
"About my father. I told you he abuses me, and it's just, I'm scared that he's out looking for me, and if he does find me, then, oh man. Ooooh shit."
Yuri hugged her girlfriend. "Natsie, listen; he won't find you here, and if we did stumble upon him, I'm here to protect you. I won't let anything happen to you, Natsie. I hope you remember that."
Natsuki felt slightly better. "Thanks Yuri, I hope we never bump into him. Ever."
"Me too."
"Well, it's a school night, should we go to bed?"
"Yeah, I'm a little tired, let's go."
The two of them slept in the same bed together, Natsuki wrapped in Yuri's arms as they drifted off to sleep. They were officially in a relationship now, and neither of them could hardly wait to tell Sayori and Monika about the news between them.
