Part 8. One Day at a Time

The next morning, the girls woke up around 6:30, Yuri went to take a shower while Natsuki was still trying to get out of bed.

She went over to the bathroom door. "Hey, babe, whatcha doin? Taking a shower?"

Yuri barely heard her. "Yes, I'm a morning shower person. Besides, it literally takes ten minutes to get to school, classes don't even start until 9:00."

Natsuki snorted. "How about I join you in that shower?"

Yuri suddenly froze. "Oh, ummm, why?"

Natsuki laughed. "I'm just kiddin' with you, babe! I'll wait my turn."

Yuri took about ten minutes in the shower, then dried herself off and opened the door in her towel.

"The shower's all yours, Natsie."

As Natsuki showered, Yuri put on her school uniform and brushed out her hair. She thought about how possibly they could they tell Sayori and Monika about their relationship? Would they be accepted? Treated and seen the same way?

Before she knew it, Natsuki was out of the shower, in a towel.

Natsuki smirked. "You like what you see?"

Yuri smiled slightly and blushed. "How classy."

"Said the one with the biggest tits."

Yuri was not only rosy red, but she was confused by the statement.

"No offense, of course. More of a compliment."

Yuri smiled. "None taken."

Soon, the girls were all dressed, ate breakfast, and headed out to Yuri's car. They were both thinking about the same thing.

"Hey babe?"

"Yes, Natsie?"

"How are we gonna tell Sayori and Monika about this?"

"I don't know, really; but I guess we don't really have a choice but to just tell them at Club time."

"I guess you're right. That's in the middle of the afternoon, right?"

"Correct."

"I guess we have no other choice."

"Nope."

They got to school in less than six minutes; there wasn't any traffic, so it was easier of a drive.

They were about to leave the car but Natsuki leaned over. "Hey, how 'bout a kiss for ol' Natsie?"

Yuri giggled. "Oh, alright." Then gave her a light kiss.

"Wish me luck, babe."

"Why?"

"I'll explain later."

The two walked in through the main doors together, since they were fairly early, they decided to wait in the literature club room; they'd wait for Sayori and Monika to arrive too.

In a short hour, Sayori burst through the door in her usually happy tone.

"Helllllo, everyone!"

Yuri looked up. "Oh, hello, Sayori."

Natsuki was next. "Mornin'."

"Let me guess, Monika's not here?"

Natsuki shook her head. "Nope."

"Typical Monika. Always got something else to do first."

Monika arrived at 8:20. "Hey there, everyone! Did I miss much this morning?"

Yuri replied, "no, not much. Just waiting on you."

"As always." Natsuki added.

Monika smiled, even though she was embarrassed a little. "I know, I know. Busy ol' Monika is always late."

They chatted for a little bit, then around 8:45, they all decided to go off to their classes. Yuri was in her English class with Sayori, so they walked off together, while Natsuki went to Chemistry, and Monika was off to Drama.

After it reached around noon, it was time for lunch. And Yuri, Natsuki, and Sayori sat together, while Monika was with the more popular group.

"I don't understand, why doesn't Monika sit with us more often?" Sayori questioned.

Natsuki shook her head. "Because all those popular assholes have a higher priority for her, I guess."

Yuri sighed. "I think she is more attracted to that friend group in general, and we are simply the extras. So she doesn't really think of us as much. Yet, I do think she still has respect and companionship for us."

Sayori hugged the two of them. "At least we've got each other, right?"

Natsuki looked over at Yuri and smiled. "But of course."

It hit around 1:00: club time. This was it, Yuri and Natsuki were going to tell Sayori and Monika about their newfound relationship. Of course, The two of them and Sayori arrive at the same time; around five minutes after, Monika would show up.

They were all sitting in a circle, talking about books, then Yuri signaled Natsuki.

Natsuki sat up. "Hey guys, Yuri and I need to come clean about something to you two."

Monika was a little concerned. "Come clean? About what."

Natsuki hesitated before she continued. "It's been recent, but I'd like to say, I-I'm bi."

Sayori leaned closer. "Aaaaaand?"

Natsuki held Yuri's hand. "And Yuri is-"

Yuri interrupted. "I'm Natsie's girlfriend."

Monika was in pure shock. "Really?"

"Yes." The two of them said together.

Sayori squealed. "I KNEW IT!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!!! OMG!!!!"

The couple could finally breathe a breath of relief. It seemed Monika and especially Sayori were taking the news very well. They were happy the hard part was over.

After school ended, Yuri waited for Natsuki to come out of the school so they could go home.

Natsuki came out looking irritated. "You ready, babe?"

A concerned Yuri replied. "Yes, let's go home."

As they were driving, Yuri could tell that Natsuki was thinking about something, and it wasn't pleasant.

"Natsie, are you alright? You look upset."

Natsuki sighed. "It's those jerks that bully me, babe. They call me awful names and sometimes even push me, just like my father. I want to make it stop, but I don't know how, or if I even can."

This angered Yuri; how could someone do this to her girlfriend? "Look, I know you are a strong woman, you certainly are around me and the club, I'd like to see you use that side of you to stand up for yourself in these situations. Just try to show them who's boss a little."

Natsuki nodded. "I guess you're right. I'll keep your advice in mind."

The two returned home, did homework together, ate dinner, and spent another calm night together.

But something awful was to happen the next day, one that would threaten Yuri's life for real.

It was up to them to help each other survive, Natsuki never thought it would be as bad as what would come.
