Watching G1 was amazing because it was classic.
It took a while for me to realize that Japan did some of their own things as well. So Transformers can both be a cartoon and anime.
My favorite aspect of Transformers were the Combiners. 5-6 vehicles combining into one giant robot was the best thing ever, especially when I saw Devastator for the first time.
Oh yeah Bruticus is my favorite combiner.
Honestly we can all say Energon (Superlink) sucks because they had to add that anime character where he gets all the armor and swords and stuff.
Plus Optimus Prime. WHY THE F**K IS HE FAT?!?!? I prefer Galaxy Force Optimus Prime than that. But I should watch Armada first.
This is the only part that made Energon good. That... Part.....
And now it's time for... Transformers shows you've never geared about until now:
Transformers Go! (It's literally Prime but with Samurai and Ninja motifs. Plus Optimus is a train.)
Headmasters: That existed. Shout factory did release them internationally.
Masterforce: That anime where humans become the headmasters and their cars are the robots
Victory: Star Saber. That's all you need to know.
Beast Wars II: That took place after Beast Wars 1 and Lio Convoy.
Beast Wars Neo: That other one. BTW BW II and Neo don't use the 3D model stuff but are anime instead.
